The way I see it we will wake up to one or more big blockbuster deals first thing in the morning and a few smaller trades and pick swaps. It's going to get crazy.

If the Lakers and Cavs meet next year in the Finals that will be grand. Now that's a made for tv series.

I'm blind, yea it's already crazy. I agree.

Here's a bunch of Rumors from earlier in the day. I didn't see all of them Posted. Link

• The Trail Blazers, known to be seeking an upgrade at point guard, have expressed interest in the Bulls’ Kirk Hinrich. But a possible Portland-Chicago trade involving Hinrich has yet to enter the realm of serious discussion, according to a person familiar with the situation. While there has been speculation for months that the Bulls would be open to moving Tyrus Thomas, who has been linked to Hinrich in a possible Portland trade, Thomas has been told there’s “nothing at all” on the table involving him at this point, the person said.

• The Suns are hoping to pry Oklahoma City’s 25th overall pick, using a 2010 unprotected first-rounder as bait.

• The Knicks, convinced they cannot land Davidson guard Stephen Curry with the eighth pick, continue to actively explore ways to move up. New York also has engaged in talks with Minnesota about acquiring the 28th pick and Memphis about No. 27.

Edit on the Suns Rumor, He's got it backwards in his blog.

Word is that the Suns are trying to swap their 14th pick with the Thunder's 25th pick. And then the Suns would get back their 1st rounder next year.

Per yahoo

Charlotte is offering two second-round picks to try to get a second first-round pick (in the 20s), but has no takers so far.

They need to hollar at the Lakers. LA is trying to dump their 1st round pick because they wont have a roster spot available once they re-sign all their guys.

I wonder who they would target if this deal was made I'm assuming a frontcourt guy Tyler Hansbrough/Taj Gibson.

The New Jersey Nets are in serious talks with the Magic about a deal that will send Vince Carter to Orlando for Rafer Alston, Tony Battie and Courtney Lee, two league sources told ESPN.com.

The talks have reached a point that a deal could be done by the end of the day Thursday, according to sources.

The trade would give the Magic even more star power on their quest to win an NBA championship. The addition of Carter to a lineup that already consists of All-Star players Dwight Howard, Rashard Lewis and Jameer Nelson would make them the favorites to win the Eastern Conference title next year.

As for the Nets, the move is a cost-cutting measure. Both Alston and Battie are in the last year of their contracts, and trading for them would shave $16.5 million off New Jersey's roster in the summer of 2010 and put the Nets well below the salary cap.

The deal, if completed, would also give the Nets a young, promising shooting guard in Lee.

i hope they get this done.. Vincsanity deserves some success in the playoffs or even a title before he is done..
