Fuggin Awesome. Great summer fun. My 10 year olds loved it, and so did I. Go see it.

Been wondering if it would be worth it.

Thanks.

Just got back, and I thought it was bad ass! And i am a 45 year old guy who doesn't use the phrase bad ass ever. Certainly the best original 'summer' movie this year. Only movie that is was close to being as fun to watch was Star Trek 2 and I actually think I enjoyed this one more. Stay for a funny extra after the main ending credits.

Took my 9 year old son with me. I think I may have enjoyed it more than him. Check you brain at the door, strap in, and enjoy the ride!

Have not seen it yet but will... My wife said she read a review that said it had a good bit of language? True?

Just awesome. Definitely fork over the extra few bucks to see it in IMAX 3D. I normally don't like watching movies in 3D, but this was definitely worth it. Incredible experience. Will probably see it again before it exits theaters.

Most plot holes I am ok with, but this one is just getting on my nerves....
If the Kaiju were bar codes to open up the rift, why did the survival pods go through it just fine?
So is it worth doing the IMAX 3D or is a regular screen just as good?

Fun movie.  The love story was essentially an afterthought, which is good because it sucked and those actors were nothing special.  Idris Elba was great, I thought Charlie Day was hilarious (essentially played the same character from Its Always Sunny minus the illiteracy), and Ron Pearlman was awesome as well.

Its not the kind of movie that tries to reinvent the wheel, but it does what it sets out to do well.  A big budget, futuristic Godzilla movie

I thoroughly enjoyed it. I recommend seeing it in 3D, it's definitely worth the few extra bucks.

Yeah there's too much to see not to see it in IMAX 3D.

I saw it twice this weekend, once with some friends and once with my stepson and stepgrandson, and actually liked it better the second time around. Theater was a bit too loud (Stonecrest) but the soundtrack did sound great (same composer that did Iron Man, lots of guitars!)

Saw it with my 10 year old son (I'm 46) and we both loved it.  He doesn't like 3D movies so we saw normal version but I'm going to go back and watch it in 3D.  I didn't stay for the end of the credits, what happened?
