We don't have to use him every down, but if no other team picks him up and plays for a minimum contract we should consider it. He has really good knowledge of the game and him and Smitty could really teach and develop our other receivers.

Fine by me.

 

Would make preseason games a little more fun which I am not going to anyway.

Neither Moss nor Smith have much of a history of helping young WRs grow and develop...

He provides us absolutely nothing. He is nowhere close to the player he used to be. Why would we have a crappy old fart come in and take a young guys spot who may have potential. We are trying to be a young team. If we needed a veteran on the team to help us get to the super bowl then I can understand it. I wouldn't choose Moss though

I always laugh at the "develop the young guys" statements.  Who are the young WRs on the team this year that we're going to be developing.  Also....playoff teams don't develop young WRs....rebuilding teams do.
