Am I the only person worried about Amini Silatolu?

No, Amini went from atrocious to pretty solid. Now he needs to build upon that and with the comments from Kalil, Gross and Rivera about him I think he'll really restore strength and stability to the left side of the line.

After 2 preseason games I am even more worried about Silatolu.  I do not see the huge improvement.  Everyone talks about Garry Williams and rightly so, but keep ignoring the bad play from Silatolu.   He does have some really good moments but his bad moments are really, really bad.

I agree I don't know what games or game film theses guys have been watching but silatolu has definitely been the worst starter on the offensive line these first two weeks.

He has all the physical tools but I don't think he has it just yet....

Well, probably one of the worst games I've watched.

My only comments on him are these:

1.  screen pass, he didn't move fast enough for Williams to follow him

2.  on a couple of runs, he was standing and Williams was on his back, not a good sign.

The Panthers as a whole last night were atrocious, all of them.

I put short shrift on preseason games but quite frankly, that performance by the whole team  was very concerning.  Very concerning.

Have high hopes for him, but he's had a rough preseason

@panthers55

Not saying that.

You've seen my posts before.

I'm not an alarmist.

After 15 years, I've seen this show many times.

I don't expect them to be world beaters in preseason.  I want them to get out and not injured but I also expect them to look like they have some clue as to how to run the simplest play call.  I didn't see that last night.

In the 3 weeks before Seattle, their happy asses better find some urgency somewhere from some body.

My worry isn't Amini. It isn't Garry. It's the line calls!

Seriously, what the hell is going on with our protection calls, stunts and blitzes are kicking our ass. I hope Kalil just needs to get back in the groove of things.

Orrrr maybe we can't block the blitzes? The RB's were abysmal in pass pro.

That didn't help either, but their was some major gap problems up front as well. It was an ugly tape, but now we have a yardstick to measure and see if they improve next week.
