That's right... Leave your tough outer personna at the door and embrace your emotions. It's that time to share a song that makes you cry.

This one gets me almost every time. I read about, see, or hear all these inundating stories about how screwed up the world is, and then I remember this song. My mom used to play it a lot when I was a kid, and now having kids of my own, when I get a quiet moment I'll turn it on and just listen...

Gets me right in the feels...

Swell Season's cover of Van Morrison's "Into the Mystic." It's a damn waterfall every time.

Heaven (Candlelight Remix) - DJ Sammy

This literally used to bring me to tears upon every listen.

Dance With My Father - Luther Vandross

Lost my father in a car accident only to have the police reports turned. He survived with little lasting effects despite initially being reported dead. This song brings back those memories.

No Heaven - Justin Nozuka

Older brother commits suicide, tries to get younger brother to follow him. So so so haunting.

Save Him - Justin Nozuka

Abusive father ends up murdering his wife and himself, leaving their baby alone and crying.

Lullaby - Justin Nozuka

Mother crashes car, killing her daughter. Can't live with herself, and presumably commits suicide.

Hit up those songs if you're looking for real tear jerkers. Would post YouTube links, but I'm posting from my phone.

PS there's a 9/11 version to the Heaven remix, and holy sh*t, just thinking about it sends chills down my spine. Try to find it, it's extremely hauntingly beautiful.

Also, Gary Jules' cover of Mad World is crazy spooky and can make me teary eyed on occasion.
