Ten bucks said they are tired and red from late nights and early mornings watching film of every guard and tackle in the league who could possibly be let go. He is a scout guy, and I have to believe he knows without some OL help our playoff hopes are gone in week 1.

I don't think it's quite that bad, but we do need some help.

Yeah with no offensive line it is like a pretty half a million dollar home with a faulty foundation. We definitely need some help.

I think he addressed what he needed to when he walked in the door and I think he did a great job restructuring outlandish contracts.  I have no doubt he will do a good job picking up some needed O line help.  We will have to address it next year in the draft, along with a stud #1 receiver.  I am pleased in his first year so far.

We don't know what quality OL are going to be cut but I don't think that they'll be who we can build Cam's protection around for years to come. However, I do hope that they can protect him better than who we've got trying to now...

The problem will be everyone needs the help (cards just got the injury bitch slap too). The competition will be stout and the price will be competitive between these teams to get the guy they think is the best out there. Lets hope DG has the influence and savvy to convince these guys that they want to play here.

Does Wharton have a house in Greenville? If so I'm heading to his house with a big sack of Debbie cakes.

We can also offer these cut players something no other team in the NFL can offer them.

A starting position on the right side of our line!! That has to be worth something

Is Rivera seriously going to use tape from a game where the starters do not play but a series?  Is that the determining factor?  "Bell did not give up a sack last night.  We are fine at RT, even though most games are a bit longer than the three plays he was in."

I am hoping that some young player causes a veteran to be cut in a cap situation.  For example, Hangartner would have been cut if Kugbila had taken the job.

RT is going to be tough.

We may have to teach our RBs and TEs to block rush ends.
