You are wrong. They wouldn't have bitched about the decision they would have blamed it on the play call... no matter what it was.

No, I wouldn't have....you can't read my mind tee

That is true, but unlike Rivera I can use past history to make determinations based on similar circumstances.

Rivera is a coward of a coach. I think our scheme on both sides is fine. But the bottom line is that Rivera is a chicken.

In fairness, if Rivera goes for it on 4th and 1, and the team fails to move the chains.....................  The majority would be saying he should be fired for not taking the points...

Don't get me wrong, I'm just as fed up as everyone else, but, it's much easier for us to coach a game Monday morning, than it is to coach one on Sunday afternoon...

Not a chance. Our secondary is PUTRID. And the numbers are in our favor, not to mention it has NEVER worked for us. Why keep doing the same thing over and over knowing that it never works for us?

100% agreed.

but i'm not going to waste any time with the blind rivera/shula apologists.

the fact that any are defending that coaching staff is beyond ridiculous.

the evidence for them being in over their heads is all over the place.

is that saying that the players aren't to blame? nope. they screwed up as well. the secondary is bad. the OL is bad, esp. bell. cam made some bad decisions. the DL didn't do their job. it was a major screw up.

the bills were the better team yesterday, with or without them getting the win. the only reason we had much success at all was because even though we kept on shooting ourselves in the foot, we kept getting lucky breaks. luck was finally turning our way and then when it comes right down to the wire, rivera makes the same decision he's made time and time again and failed with time and time again...and just like every other time it backfired on us.

we had that game handed to us with bow on top and we regifted it right back to them.

we deserved to lose.

I think you will have a hard time finding a blind Rivera/Shula apologist in this forum right now.

We are talking about one decision  within the game that I don't necessarily disagree with.  Yesterday's game was a clusterfug from start to finish as far as the coaches are concerned

My thoughts exactly, not playing to our strengths.

Not only did we not go for it, we put the game in the hands of our shaky and depleted secondary which makes absolutely no sense.

The condition of our secondary alone at the end of the game should have convinced Rivera that we needed to go for it to seal the victory. We're calling plays based on a chart instead of what the coach sees on the field, that's the problem.

I watched this implosion live. Buffalo fans were LEAVINg the damn stadium during that drive. Shows they had no faith in their team, meanwhile me and my dad had a deep feeling that the td would happen... I drove 10 hours to watch rivera poo the bed.

I'm suppose to drive down to Minneapolis (8 hours) for the game in a few weeks. None of my friends are panthers fans so I'm paying for hotel and tickets since its hard to convince anyone to go see the panthers. After yesterday I'm about 50/50 on cancelling the trip. Trip will cost me roughly 3 grand and I know I'm just going to be driving home pissed off.

I think if you offer any coach a one yard play on the 21 to win the guarantee victory they would take it. One yard and it's guaranteed game over vs a field goal and the other team controls its own destiny for 1:38? Seems obvious to me.
