https://www.profootb...on-blog-week-3/

- The three highest graded players were Charles Johnson (+5.7), Amini Silatolu (+4.9) and Byron Bell (+4.8)

- The three lowest graded players were Justin Pugh (-5.5), Shaun Rogers (-3.9) and Mark Herzlich (-3.7)

- Why was it such a rough night for Pugh? He got handled by Johnson and allowed a horrid two sacks, two hits and five hurries. Those nine quarterback disruptions more than doubled his total of eight from his first two games.

- The Giants impotent pass rush delivered pressure on just six of 29 Cam Newton sized dropbacks.

- The Panthers spent 23 of their snaps in 21 personnel, 21 in 12 personnel and 23 in 11 personnel. Good balance.

Silatolu and Bell? O_o

I pointed out both had solid games.

Weird day indeed.

The Panthers spent 23 of their snaps in 21 personnel, 21 in 12 personnel and 23 in 11 personnel.

Can I get an english translation here? You can only have 11 people on the field at a time.

They both graded at +0.2.

Only 2 players on offense (Olsen and Scott) and 2 players on defense (Blackburn and Horton) graded in the red. Lots of greens.

21 personnel = 2 running backs, 1 tight end (and 2 receivers), 11 personnel = 1 running back, 1 tight end (and 3 receivers) and 12 personnel = 1 running back, 2 tight ends (and 2 receivers.)

Also, Gano is the 2nd highest graded kicker while Nortman is the third highest graded punter for the year.

If we can clean up the mistakes by the return and coverage units our ST group would be the best it's been in a long, long time.

One more note: right now the Panthers have the 4th highest cumulative PFF grade of all teams at +20.9 (compared to the Packers at +33.8)

According to Giants fans Blackburn deserves a grade of +20.0 for having a notebook.

Do these morons even realize they have our previous #3 receiver Louis Murphy?

Giants spread it out and took away from stars effectiveness, I knew amini played well but damn Byron bell. Helluva job
