first, you have to learn very quick to get over the fact that the radio will forever kill a song the first few days it comes out, and continue to vaporize it throughout the next 6 months...  it's inevitable..  Just stop listening to the radio if it comes to that.

second, Get Lucky is a typical club song simply for the message...  know the hype will come with anything that presents itself as a club hit.  it goes with the territory whether the song is that great or not.  Just look at "Like a G6", everything about that song is pathetic, except for the hook (when at a club)...

There is no way that song is a club beat. Do you do this when it comes on?

I've been over any form of techno/house music the last 5 years (about the time it became popular in the grand scheme)...  By no means would you ever worry about me at a club, I don't care who you're with..  My point is it's an upbeat "party" song and that's why it gets hype.  It's a good summer song, if that helps any...

Look at what he's done as a producer. It's ridiculous. He's produced for some of the biggest artists in not only hip-hop, but R&B, pop, rock, house/electronic, etc.

I agree. He should just stick with being behind the scenes.

was SEVERLY disappointed with the new album. Then again the paradox many bands face is: if they produce something new and fresh, diehard fans will hate it. If they reproduce their old stuff: they will get criticized for not expanding.

Y'all like daft punk, check out a band called moderat. Awesome sound and I was pleasantly surprised by the singing as well!
