When searching for a head coach to turn around a losing mentality...

don't go looking for the finest football mind New Jersey has to offer...

Schiano makes me appreciate Rivera, and that's saying something.  A LOT of something.

He was like the 18th guy they interviewed after being turned down by a slew of other prospects.

Tampa deserves whatever they get.

I didn't see the game. What happened? What did he do this time? Haven't heard anything since he benched Freeman.

Disciplinarians generally have short shelf lives in professional sports.

Even good football minds like Parcells would generally wear out his welcome within 2-3 seasons.

Being a red ass as a coach is overrated anyway and unless you have credibility (i.e. Super Bowl rings) it usually backfires sooner rather than later.

Schiano has done a terrible job of handling "men" down there in Tampa, but I wouldnt be talking much. Football wise, we're not much of an upgrade to Tampa.

he treats professional athletes like 18 year olds. Imagine being a grown man and being treated like a child. He hasn't adapted his interpersonal skills to the professional game.
