Never got misty eyed..

My wife and I were standing and lost our voice screwing during the 4th quarter.. I'm sure my downstairs neighbors contemplated whether or not we were killing each other.. After the interceptions my wife covered her face and just began balling her eyes out.. I instantly braced her and told her it's time to break out the moonshine and celebrate!!!

Sounded like you were already celebrating.  Damn.  You must live one helluva life.  ;)

Oh yeah...I did. My wife said that was the first time I teared up about a Panthers game since the Super Bowl 10 years ago.

It's all a blur.  There was the INT, then my breathing stopped while waiting for the flag that I was sure was coming.  Once I saw the defense running off the field, I let out a primal scream that may have been heard for miles.  I ran around the room like a giddy child.  Total euphoria - I'm still high as a kite.

I was happy for Drayton. I really love seeing new guys to the team find success an create impacts. I hope they get a huge welcome come Monday night for what these new guys have done.

And of course I was speechless when that INT happened. A lot of teams I pull for just don't make those plays and find ways to fug up a lead or they are usually the one throwing the INT at the end of the game. So it felt good to be on the other side of that spectrum.

I was watching the game on my phone at work.

There was definitely some fist pumping involved.

I felt the weight of five losing seasons drop off my back.  I realize that we still have 7 games to go, but I think this confirmed to everyone that this team is for real.

Well put. While hard to describe, it was more of a physical feeling than a mental one.

So no, no tears shed, just the wonderful realization that the potential we all knew this team had was finally coming to fruition.
