Since becoming a Panther, Stewart has about 19 more full practices than I do.

I've seen enough Barner. If he performed a spin move, he'd remind me of Everette Brown. If a wind gust catches him right, he goes down for a loss.

You've seen enough of a rookie RB who has around 10-15 carries? That makes a ton of sense.

Well when he's healthy......

Cut D'lo and draft a mid-late round RB.  Stewart may be here for a few more years but I'm not gonna fret over it.

Barner needs more ass behind him......with his frame he needs to be out in space because I just can't see him being stout enough at this point to absorb to many hits.

Good god are even more people realizing that giving him a big money extension was a stupid idea?

Heading into this season.....Beason's absurd contract made him just as "safe" as Double Trouble.

Can't assume any player with a bad deal that cost TONS with minimal production is "safe"......under a GM brought in to clean them up. Hurney magic'ing them isn't why Gettlemen is here

Barner has 5 carries.....on runs designed for Mike Tolbert into trash piles

It's accelerated signing bonus. But it may be worth a roster spot for a RB that plays more than 3 games a year

Sent from the Carolina Huddle App

Not entirely. His salaries through next year and part of 2015 were fully guaranteed. 7,5 million or so in addition to signing bonus prorations.

His contract had 23 million guaranteed counting his 9 million signing bonus and 5.5 Million in guaranteed Salary. Add in another 2.5 million for his restructure and another 4.785 million option bonus in 2014. All told he's got around 30 million in guaranteed money or bonuses the he'll get. Add in another 6 million in LTBE bonuses for yards that he might get if Dwill is cut and he takes off again.   It's a really horrible deal, maybe one of the worst in NFL history.
