I can see him being effective if they get him the ball in space. Up the middle is not his game as a pro.

The point is, game reps are a fraction of the total reps coaches see. We've got guys like Melvin White, Robert Lester and AJ Klein getting many more snaps than Barner. If the coaches were seeing enough out of him in practice, they would find a way to get him on the field.

Not to say he's a bust by any means, just that he may not yet be showing enough to get more snaps.

White is playing bc there are scrubs that were ahead of him to play CB

Newton, Tolbert, Williams and Stewart aren't scrubs and there aren't enough opportunities for them to rush as much as they need to.

None of those guys have 4 STRONG players ahead of them

Yeah, I don't know how I got that. I came close at least.
