It appears former Duke forward Alex Murphy is transferring to Florida.  I don't know much about him, aside from the fact that he is Erik Murphy's little brother and he has underachieved thus far at Duke.  Any Duke fans think the kid has potential?

Last season (or maybe when he first arrived), he was supposedly one of the best players in practice, starting for the team when they played pre-season in China, and was overall seen as a guy to be a key contributor.

Then, he suffered a concussion in practice, took a redshirt, and seemingly lost all confidence. He has the tools to be a nice player, but was never going to see substantial time at Duke with the recruits they have coming in. He could be a solid 10 PPG guy IMO though, in the right situation.

Thanks, man. One thing Florida doesn't have is a ton of depth. There is a noticeable drop in quality when our bench comes on the floor. Getting Walker will help, but I do hope Murphy can contribute.

Those three terrible losses to Villanova, Colorado and Florida really stung but it's good to see the Jayhawks gradually regaining ground.

I wouldn't call losing to Florida at Florida a terrible loss.

Agreed.  I also feel the same goes for Colorado.  They are ranked 20 in the AP, 9 in the RPI and KU lost to them on the road on a buzzer beater.  No they are not a traditional power but this year that is not a terrible loss.
