Billick and others say Kaepernick appears insecure by mocking Cam.  He also throws in a cheap shot about him wearing his hat sideways.

This was only the beginning.  You can bet that his gesture won't be forgotten.

It will just feed the fire.

Give our QB some targets to throw to and watch Kaepernick rue the day he mocked Cam.

Why are you some of you getting so hot about this? Von miller did it when he sacked cam last year and other players have done it, I don't like Kap at all I think he conducts himself like a douchebag and is vastly overated on a team full of stud players where most qbs would look elite but he scored a td prob the the game winner and was picked later than cam in the draft I mean if you had the chance to take a lil swipe and a huge scoop of take that! Wouldn't you? It's just gamesmanship and I don't really care and nor should cam what we should care about is how good we made him look Sunday compared to at candlestick week ten.

Agree. First of all, Cam opens himself up to this by doing that Superman bit every time he scores. Added to that the first down "point" every time he gets us a first down. Added to this also, one of our players (if not others) mocked Kap in the last game with the bicep kiss/elbow bow or whatever that crap it (someone here has that gif as their sig)

Its not a big deal. Insulting to us...yes...but its not as if we havent, or wouldnt have done the same darn thing.

Get over it guys

The reason it is a big deal is because typically you don't mock your countepart. It is okay for a defender to do it because they are in direct competition with one another. Cam has been nothing but respectful when question about Kapernick. Kapernick does come accross as insecure. He is not a better player than Cam he just happens to be the quaterback of a team with better weapons. I am over it but I am just giving an opionion as to why it is a big deal.

This is like when pro wrasslin commentators talk about wrassler antics. It's not about football. Who cares

Based on his offense and his season, Kaep missed an opportunity to close his mouth.

I expect defenses to do it. Feels different when an opposing QB does. And on a scoring play

Usually QBs have a code and they show respect to the other QBs. You wouldn't see Rodgers, Brady, Brees, Manning etc. mocking the other teams QB. In fact I cannot come up with any QBs that disrespect each other. I guess that does show his immaturity. Just makes him look foolish which isn't hard.
He really isn't a good QB either. He does not read defenses and locks into one receiver. He is a great athlete which helps him when his one receiver is covered and he has many weapons.

Yeah I think generally it's expected for defenders to mock the QBs when they make plays against them. For one QB to mock another is more out of the ordinary and disrespectful.
