Yet UNC will have a better season. Again.

UNC vs Duke since '04; 7-4 advantage UNC

-split meetings

-finished tied 3rd in ACC

-neither won ACC tourney

-Duke knocked out rd 64, UNC wins

I guess if you want to Brag about a win against a mediocre providence that's fine. Atleast you didn't lose to a mediocre Mercer

Wouldn't you rather beat a mediocre team then lose to a mediocre team...

I thought the term "one and done" referred to Duke's NCAA performances.

It was a bigger win than the win they picked up against a shitty Duke team in Chapel Hill.

I don't know it just seemed like a backhanded compliment after an early exit from the dookies in the NCAA Tourney.

Of course, you want me to be completely complementary? Not gonna happen.

The announcers sait it best, it was about seniority. When was Duke the king? Back in the days of Christian Laettner. Back when guys would stay all four years, or at least three. Now teams like Kentucky, UNC, Kansas, Memphis, Duke, etc. bring in all these hot shots who play one year only. Sure, sometimes it works, but it usally doesn't. One year just isn't enough for a team to gel. I mean, look at North Dakota St. Mostly seniors. Sure, Oklahoma isn't some world beater, but I picked NDS simply due to seniority.

UNC hardly ever brings in one and done type players. It's extremely rare.

So make like a fetus, or Duke in the NCAAs, & abort.

Pretty sure it isn't the fetuses choice but that's not a discussion for this board

Duke played a superior team...

Wasn't exactly their choice either.
