NFLPA extended Goodell? They have no say in the selection of the commissionet - the owners select him...

Well whoever, it was a stupid decision

Cuban not only has a point but it's something I've heard my friends say in the past 2 years... The nfl is too in your face and it grown tiring.

He can learn from the old NBA days of less is more. When you over saturate something the interest level goes down dramatically.

Thursday night games is just the right amount of out of the box programming. Get a jump on the weekend.

Well whoever, it was a stupid decision

it would be a stupid decision for the players, but since they didn't have a vote..................

the owners however apparently feel it's a great decision since people still don't seem to understand who exactly to blame other than Goodell...  They pay him handsomely to fall on the sword.

not exactly calling you out, this is a very common misconception...

As long as your favorite team plays once a week I don't think the NFL will ever implode. It kills me that I have to wait a whole week to see the Panthers either redeem themselves from a previous loss or prove they are for real with a another win. The NFL is like no other sport. I get so hype right before kick off while the aerial camera glides from end zone to end zone showing the bright lights shining off the freshly buffed helmets. The music matching the look on the players faces just puts you in their shoes for a brief moment-"DUNDAH.. DUNDAH..DUNDAH". The anxiety I feel from the faith & hope that my team will back up all the smack I talked all fuggin' week long. Talking schit like I had the sports almanac from the future like McFly's bully. Cuban makes sense, but the way we fiend for football doesn't so his theory is misplaced. DAMN... I just tortured myself. Come on September!

Exactly. Teams play up to 5 games a week in the NBA, as opposed to the weekly NFL schedule. Even if Goodell decides to have a game every night of the week, it won't effect us as long as your favorite team plays once weekly.

My Thursday nights are for Friends and Melrose Place. Gordell can never change that.

The sooner Goodell's ass is kicked to the curb the better.

You would think the nfl is unbreakable but Cuban is other worldly smart. When I first heard of HD TV I thought it was stupid. Shows what I know. Cuban spearheaded the whole thing and look at it now.
