I said this yesterday in the draft discussion thread. After seeing TD's cap hit next year in that other thread, it wouldn't surprise me if Shazier was the pick

Ya we picked AJ Klein for this reason, so not gonna happen.

I'm already preparing myself for our WTF pick in the first 3 rounds, though.

Also wouldn't shock me to see us pick up a DE somewhere early in this draft.  As has been discussed to death around here, the odds of us having Hardy and Johnson beyond this season is slim to none so it wouldn't be to far fetched to see us pick up somebody to develop a year so we know what we've got prior to making moves after next season.

I'll almost be relieved if we only have one WTF pick in the first 3 rounds.

I doubt it why not just draft DE in next year draft  after seeing what kind of season Hardy has. The top talent available for this year draft will be heavily invested on the offensive side of the ball.

As long as we a very good player and he  the best player available when we pick, I don't care what position he plays.

Not me, but I'll be happy to provide some bullets, rope, etc., for some here.

There'll be enough bitching about picking the wrong player, let alone the wrong position. I certainly hope the BPA at 28 isn't a LB.

The huddle. Where BPA=WTF.

I wish depth and money didn't matter, too. I also wish I lived in a gumdrop house on lollipop lane..

I'll bet we pick both an LB and an RB at some point in the draft, maybe even as high as the 2nd.
