This game reminds me of back when JJ Redick and Sheldon Williams played at Duke, and JJ would miss about 6 3 pointers in a row while Sheldon got every offensive rebound and passed it back to JJ until he finally hit one.
Then the announcers are like "That young man always makes the big shots when it matters!"
Makes me chuckle at all the people who were blindly defending him whenever someone on here criticized him. The man himself admits he had a bad season. There's a lot to like and there's also a ways to go.
Maybe this is a strange concept to you but sometimes people will criticize themselves and take responsibility more than is necessary or factual because they want to be humble and be a good teammate.
Good game, Seattle is overall a better and more experienced team, we had to play flawlessly to win and had our chances but we are too young and made too many mistakes while Seattle played a great game.
Some people might take that as an excuse, but playing mistake free football is a sign of skill. Seattle made fewer mistakes because they are more experienced and right now a much better team. I have hope that we can get there soon but we aren't there now.
