Don't tell that to Peyton Manning or Tom Brady...they literally took their teams to the Super Bowl and won...need numbers?

Literally? As in they drove the team bus?

#3075441 Cam throws 6 TD's?

Posted by The_Mango55 on 10 November 2014 - 09:16 AM

Cam couldn't throw 6 TD passes, his receivers would drop at least 3 of them.

Damn. Luck's 7th straight 300 yard game. He is putting up some great numbers. Dude's going to be scary for years to come. Tom Brady and Peyton Manning weren't even this good in their 3rd year.

I think if they were regularly throwing 44 passes by the middle of the third quarter in most of their games they would have stats at least that good.

Cam should have been picked there.  He's killing us.

That was an extremely good play by the saints to even tip that ball.

A pick would have been nearly impossible.

Anderson needs to come in.....Cam is sketchy out there

Wonder if the Saints fans are calling for Luke McCown?

They have the same number of points we do.

#3049914 Cam's first-down celebrations really bother a lot of people. Why?

Posted by The_Mango55 on 27 October 2014 - 07:50 PM

No he doesn't.

Just go for it. Not like it matters whether that have to go 30 yards or 80 yards

That wasn't a bad call. It didn't look bad in slow motion but in live action it was clear he pushed off.

This loss is on Rivera and Rivera alone, serves Rivera right for not having balls

Which loss?

#2987048 A bad week for our NFC South rivals

Posted by The_Mango55 on 28 September 2014 - 11:58 PM

No longer sure we'll beat the Vikes. If we don't get our poo together, we're looking at a long season

Pshh, who cares if we beat the vikes. As long as we beat the rest of the NFC South I don't care if we go in at 6-10.

#2966385 Jimmy Fallon - SNF "Superlatives"

Posted by The_Mango55 on 21 September 2014 - 12:04 AM

Let's not beat around the bush Fallon was playing off the stereotype that black men with dreads coming from the Caribbean are drug smugglers. It's a common stereotype, you might not find it funny but that's what it is.

I remember watching Fallon when he first got his late night show after Conan went to 11:30. It was an absolute train wreck. He had no stage presence. He was nervous with no charisma. Absolute embarrassment. But I love The Roots so I would watch it from time to time and he got really good. It was cool to see someone start something unfamiliar and get really good at it over time. His comedy isn't for everyone but his target audience loves him.

Has more to do with the huge smile and half open eyes than race. No doubt the dreads helped too, but do you think he wouldn't have made the same joke if he were white?

Everyone is a trainwreck when they first start, that's the nature of the business, but he's really hit his stride and his taped bits are up there with the best that Conan has ever done (his only competition for taped bits), plus his show just exudes an aura of fun that you can feel coming off of the guests.
