As long as they change the font I'm fine. This is total crap:

It was cool for about 15 minutes in the 90s.

#1613355 Dilfer clowns Tebow

Who was the 79th "EXPONENTIALLY BETTER" qb? Is he playing in the playoff today?
I've only watched The Golden Calf of Bristol play in 2 NFL games (KC,STEELERS) and I never watched him play in college, so I don't understand how a player can accomplish so much is his career and be so bad.
I think Trent Dilfer would have shown tremendous respect for The Golden Calf of Bristol by keeping his mouth shut about The Golden Calf of Bristol.
What did Trent Dilfer accomplish in his college and NFL career?

Someone pleases move this thread to SMACK.

Trent Dilfer won a superbowl.

#1611765 The Most Underapreciated, undervalued Panther draft pick of all time

Yeah good offensive linemen can go unnoticed by fans. Especially considering the less you hear their name the better they are probably doing (besides making a spectacular block upfield you hardly ever hear about something good a lineman does)

#1607854 BCS NCG: Bama vs LSU

Posted by The_Mango55 on 10 January 2012 - 01:13 AM

So pardon me for not searching back through all this, what two best teams are you advocating here, and why would Alabama have been excluded? (No way anyone could argue that LSU didn't deserve the shot here)

Under the current system (or at least how I have been led to believe the current system works by people defending it), which as I've already said I believe is crap and doesn't tell you anything about who the best team is, I think it should probably have been LSU and OK State, since Alabama already lost to LSU (reg season is a playoff right?) and OK State won their conference. I would have complained about this also if LSU/OK State was close/bad and Bama dominated Stanford but I would have had less of a problem with the selection (besides the general problem I have with the entire process).

Under a decent system (not even ideal, but just an easy to implement system that would work with the current setup) then there would have been a +1 game where the winner of this game plays the winner of the fiesta bowl.

#1597522 J-Stew - What do we do?

Posted by The_Mango55 on 03 January 2012 - 04:33 PM

you are arguing that someone is trying to take away one aspect, when they are simply saying one helps the other.

Cam's threat as a passer keeps the defense honest. his ability to run magnifies that.

both are valuable. as Rayzor has explained. no one is taking anything away from anyone or anything.

then again, maybe I glazed over some point y'all were raising because this conversation seems rather pointless.. you know, since no one is saying fug a run game.. lol

CRA is trying to say we're a passing team now. I was contradicting him.

He literally said that suggesting we maximize the strength of our run game makes one John Fox.

If that's not "fug a run game" I don't know what is.

#1581774 Why Is Armanti Edwards Still Returning Punts?

Nice to know you think my death would make the world a better place...you, sir, have some hate in your heart you need to get rid of, ASAP.

Well you've got to remember his name is "Keith Moon's Liver" which tells us several things:

1: He's british, so that gives him a bitter inferiority complex to begin with

2: He's not functioning correctly

and 3: He's spent a lot of time inside another man...

You people don't understand joke threads or what?

I wouldn't even call it a troll, he's having a laugh at PFFL's expense.

His family is so proud of him. They couldn't be at the game today but here's a picture of them watching from home.

#1548288 "Cam is regressing"

Posted by The_Mango55 on 04 December 2011 - 03:35 PM

I mean technically this hasn't exactly been his best game. He just above a 50% completion percentage.
But yeah I get what your saying.

4 touchdowns and no turnovers.

Pretty good game.

#1539412 Cam's day

Posted by The_Mango55 on 28 November 2011 - 03:52 PM

Yeah it's better than others as a single stat to determine a team's efficiency.

But you use it to prove that the offense sucks, in a vacuum. You're not including anything the defense does when you mention YPP, you've even gone so far as to say that defense has nothing to do with starting field position! You're using the stat to measure the exact thing that CHFF tells you it DOES NOT measure.

I'm watching it now, the scandal is a very tiny part of this program.

Also I notice the fatass bama fan with buck teeth with the hot ass wife

#1499360 PFT Power Rankings:

Posted by The_Mango55 on 01 November 2011 - 11:09 PM

here's a fun fact, if we finish the year out with the current pace we'll be the first team in the history of the NFC South to finish dead last in the division two straight seasons.

Who is we?

I can tell you're not a Panthers fan so I don't know who you're talking about.

Besides, I have a feeling the Bucs will finish at the bottom.

#1498677 Merril hodge says cam newton a top 5 qb right now.

Posted by The_Mango55 on 01 November 2011 - 04:02 PM

You want me to tell you something about the Packers that will blow your mind?

They did not have a single come from behind (or tied) in the 4th quarter win in the 2010-11 season. Not one. That includes regular and post season.

They lost 5 games last year, all of them were close, and some of them they were winning in the 4th and blew it. They had 2 overtime games and lost both of them.

So for you to say that a QB's ability to come from behind is the most important attribute is total garbage.
