#2867237 Peter King (Cam hater) will be coming to practice

Posted by KissMyConverse on Yesterday, 05:46 AM

I'm headed down to practice in just a little bit and I'll keep an eye out for that guy.

I'll be taking pics and tweeting as much as possible. Handle @roaringriot

Just look for the Tom Brady fan club T-Shirt and the smug cloud that should be directly overhead.

I loved how they would sell beer about halfway up. (Won't lie it got me every time)

I've lived in Tampa Bay territory, Philadelphia Eagle territory, Indianapolis Colts territory, and never switched my allegiance from the Panthers. Sounds like the biggest bandwagon fan might be you.

Reading comprehension must not be your strong suite....

Go back and read what my post was in response to. Take 10 seconds re-read it and see if you can figure out which team I was referring to as having band wagon fans in NC. (I'll give you a hint its not Panther fans)

#2862996 maybe some good news for Hardy

Posted by KissMyConverse on 24 July 2014 - 10:53 AM

I more of a lurker than poster here but I cannot not comment here.

Don't you think you're being a bit unfair to Hardy at this time. I have no idea what happened that night but until he's actually found guilty (on appeal) don't you think he deserves the benefit of doubt. I don't ever recall him being involved in any other domestic disputes so it's not like he has a history with it so why are you so quick to dismiss him.

To be honest I think I'm being 100% fair to Greg. I think he got a raw deal with the judge. I think the girl involved in this whole thing is a PoS human being and I don't think Hardy should have been found guilty on any of it.

That being said I don't think anyone who is looking at this objectively and not blinded by fandom would think he is just an innocent angel in what took place. He may not have done the things she is claiming but who knows he may have. I think what you need to look at is I said all of his off the field things taken as a whole should be enough to warrant caution in signing him long term. Each time that something has happened with him its been an escalation and a trend pointing in the wrong direction.

CJ, Cam, TD, Luke and this list goes on have not had and off the field issue yet. These are the guys I would spend my money on. Hardy should make even the most rabid fan a little cautious about locking up in a big money long term contract.

But I think the point is moot anyway I don't think it was ever in our GM's plans to keep him.

#2862871 Justin Blackmon, not Josh Gordon, is now the dumbest player in the NFL

And to think leading up to that draft that's who I really wanted Carolina to draft. Somewhere late March I switched to Luke....

Things sometimes just work out for the best.

Niner fans should be coming back pretty soon

Moving to Sacramento...

I hope the fans there are a little less crazy than the band wagons you get in NC.

We both agree there one of the two will be gone. But Big Money has shown he is the better DE (In my opinion) without the drama. Again as a player and "The Kraken" he is very easy to root for. I just think letting him walk and replacing him with Elay may be the best way to go about things.... and I think it's been G-spot's plan since the draft.

#2862805 maybe some good news for Hardy

Posted by KissMyConverse on 24 July 2014 - 08:41 AM

You really want to keep him after you add up everything he has had happen and what we know about him being a little off?

I love the player Hardy is. He is easy to root for on the football field. But let's not kid ourselves he may not be guilty of what he was convicted of but he isn't 100% innocent and its only a matter of time before there is something else.

#2853505 When a persona overtakes reality...a.k.a..the Kraken

Posted by KissMyConverse on 16 July 2014 - 07:15 AM

I'll  be honest with you. Hardy is Crazy we all know that. But I don't think he was living out his life as "The Kraken" when it came to this girl. He just saw a warm wet hole when he looked at her and she was crazy. That's the story of a lot of athletes.

I think if he "Released the Kraken" on her she would have ended up in the hospital or worse. He just dipped his pen in the wrong ink.

#2850257 Oh Snap, another online vote to try and rig guys

Posted by KissMyConverse on 14 July 2014 - 01:50 PM

If you were really going to rig one as much as I love X-clown (hell David used my quote off Twitter in his article) I would rather Rig the "Butt Fumble" which shouldn't have to be explained.

But even more so to make ESPN's "Greatest NFL play of all time" the Butt Fumble would just be the perfect way to say FU to the 4 letter network.

Pied for Braveheart.... which was actually Robert the Bruce.

But who cares about history Mel

#2838940 Luke Kuechly #15 NFL Top 100

Posted by KissMyConverse on 03 July 2014 - 08:55 AM

If you go on reddit, you'll see plenty of Kuechly hate. If you just mention his name on there, they'll tell you how he doesn't deserve DPOY.

Were most of them St Louis or San Fran fans or Texans fans?

The best are always going to have haters. I mean seriously who can hate Manning? But everyone in that NE corner of the country sure as hell does. For the most part though the kid is loved and its kinda weird to go from basically having no real superstars on this team to having two....

Said KB has it. He is asking the right questions to get better and has the right attitude. Always ready to work. Will be a special player.

To be blunt that's why Smith isn't here and Jericho and Avant are. Love 89 but we never developed a #2 under him. That may be Hurney's piss poor drafting of WRs but gut tells me its not. Smith might be a good field general and mean well but I don't think his approach to being a mentor was the best and the main reason he isn't on this team.

I think Voth hinted at that a few times leading up to him being cut. Then of course you look at the guys G-spot brought in. 2 guys known to be great teammates and loved in their locker rooms that are more than eager to teach the rookies and give POSITIVE reinforcement.

Like I said Love Smitty but I'd rather have Jericho here and his 10 Red Zone TDs teaching and building up the Rook for doing the right things than Smith tearing him down for doing the wrong.
