#3334745 Check out this gem from Saints Report

The only thing is that chain of replies that pissed me off is the guy claiming Louisiana has better BBQ than Carolina.

He must have only had Eastern... yeah I said it. Western (Lexington)  >>>>> Eastern

#3334025 An Ode to Unibroue

OP do you know where I can get some Unibroue? Either on the west side of Charlotte or the Upstate of SC?

Most Total Wines carry most of their selection. Or any high end beer store.

#3333236 Tj Clemmings has Stress Fracture in his foot

Rumors about TJ Clemmings are BS! A year's old injury that healed years ago. Probably leaked by team that wants to draft him at bargain spot

#3333067 Work conversation

Posted by KissMyConverse on 24 April 2015 - 12:52 PM

Actually there are only two teams that have never played on Thanksgiving.... Carolina and Jacksonville.

So at least we won't be the last.

As far as national perception I got into a conversation with 9er fans last night at the gym. I won't bore you with the details except to say when Kap was brought up and I suggested they dumb down the playbook for him again since he was tearing it up when they kept it simple and that he is more of an Athlete than QB.... they laughed and argued that Cam is the same. They couldn't back it up and I shut the conversation down at that point since to me ESPN still runs the national narrative on Small Market teams. Whatever brush stroke they want to paint your team is going to the how the common NFL fan sees you.

#3332462 Could Shaq Thompson be another Derrick Brooks?

Posted by KissMyConverse on 23 April 2015 - 09:05 PM

I've been beating this drum for the past couple weeks. All I get is well yeah in the 2nd....

We pick at 25 its basically the second.

If he's your guy then take the guy!

#3331214 Which two round scenario appeals more to you?

Posted by KissMyConverse on 22 April 2015 - 10:18 PM

C

Shaq is the guy I want in this draft. SS used like Kam. Pair that with an OT that should be going in the top 5...

We can get a decent WR in the 3rd. Hardy or the like...

I would freak out and cry of happiness if we draft Shaq.

I thought I was alone in this sea.

#3329001 Panthers/Cowboys Thanksgiving

Grew up a Lions fan before Carolina got a team. It was the one time I knew I could watch the Lions play. Then we got a team and I always wanted to pig out on ham and turkey and watch the Panthers... now I finally get to.... when I'm living 3000 miles away from my nearest family member LOL...

Got to love Irony

GO PANTHERS!!!

Isn't Eric Kendricks an ILB?

I could see drafting a LB in the first, specifically the Sam,  but I don't think they'd go ILB in the first.

Cali Panthers fans need to get some organization and start watching games together. Slackers....

This is true but Keep in mind California is like the size of 5 states combined. And if the game is at 1 then its 10 here and to get to the Bay area its at minimum 1 and a half hours for me....

That being said once or twice a year won't hurt.

#3325574 Leaked Batman v Superman Trailer

Posted by KissMyConverse on 17 April 2015 - 11:35 PM

Here's the thing most people see this trailer and go ok its different and could be good but I'm kinda skeptical. Personally I'm a comic book fan so I am genuinely excited.

DC fanboys look at it and... "OMG THIS IS PERFECT IT IS SOOOO MUCH BETTER THAN ANY poo MARVEL HAS PUT OUT I AM SERIOUSLY SHITTING MY PANTS OVER HERE IN ANTICIPATION FOR THIS MASTERPIECE"

Basically if you're not a fan boy and you're just a comic book fan you're cautiously optimistic. If you're not a fan boy and not a real comic geek you're seriously worried (just look at the reviews of the teaser.... I can't believe that's a thing but it is)

What cracks me up is DC fan boys still poo all over Marvel specifically the Avengers. The first Avengers was an amazing movie and was almost perfect. Basically everything that has been said about AoU says it is going to be the best Super Hero movie ever from critics mind you not fan boys. And the trailers have done nothing but back that up...

Yet DC Fanboys still poo all over it worse than Panthers fans do someone who questions Cam.

Wait a second.... there's two Panther fans in Livermore?

I need to make it down sometime next year and watch a game. Being the only Panther fan at the bar gets old.

#3325258 Best Beer You've Ever Drank

Posted by KissMyConverse on 17 April 2015 - 06:05 PM

Okay, wow. Best beer I ever drank is a beer I don't even like that much.

Bud Light.

A little back story, I was in England for 10 days, and every beer was heavy as poo and room temperature. If I was just going to have one or two they would have been fine, but I like to drink 12+ and I couldn't find a beer that didn't leave me bloated as hell.

I mainly stuck with Stella and Kronenburg 1664.

We were at some tourist attraction about the history of London. We get to the end and at the exit there of course is a little pub, and low and behold they had Bud Light. Of course I ordered one and it was ice freaking cold.

I am not a big fan of dark or otherwise heavy beer, so to get an ice cold light beer after 8 days heavier warm beer... it tasted fugging amazing. I literally drank it in about 1 minute.

I would have just sat my ass down right there and pounded about 10 of em, but once I ordered another my companions were getting pissed because we had other places to go.

Anyway, I am not a huge fan of Bud Light. But that day it was the best beer I had ever had.

I'm judging you...
