#3155311 Breaking: Air Asia flight went missing - 162 on board

Posted by Montsta on Today, 12:13 AM

air asia offers the lowest fares per kilometer in the world… they also have a 4-star (out of seven) safety rating, which is surprising given how pristine they are in every other conceivable category. i have flown them multiple times, including indonesia (jakarta) to kuala lumpur earlier this year.

Glad you aren't in the area. Was genuinely concerned of your whereabouts.

If you wanted Gettleman fired because he didn't re-sign LaFell and dropped Steve Smith, you need to start rethinking things.

For those that saw the other thread where I said I don't like Trai because he hasn't re-signed with the Panthers in my Madden franchise:

I franchised him twice and he still wouldn't sign. Signed a MASSIVE contract with the Titans. fug that guy.

But in real life we're good.

#3151150 Best Southern Rock Band of all time

Posted by Montsta on 23 December 2014 - 03:54 PM

Skynyrd is under appreciated. Most people only know of the Sweet Home Alabama/Three Steps/Free Bird/Simple Man songs. I hate Alabama/Three Steps because they don't even really feel like Skynyrd, compared to the rest of their stuff. The best Skynyrd songs IMO are the ones not many people have heard, like "Cry For the Bad Man", "I need You", "Searching", etc. I encourage anyone to check out their discography as a whole, it's really great (not the crap version of the band after the plane crash).

If you aren't playing Tuesday's Gone in your head when you are drunk at the end of the party and its time to cab it home, then you suck.

Deangelo Williams Vs. SCP's North-Facing Office Helmet.

Should be an epic matchup for the ages.

#3151016 I think we all can relate....

I'm an atheist and I think it's great. If that's what Cam believes in or feels good about doing, then do it.

No sweat off my balls.

#3149308 At stake: NFC South Title/ Playoffs vs Top 10 draft pick

Posted by Montsta on 22 December 2014 - 01:18 PM

You've often expressed disappointment in our offensive line.

Let's go with the 8th vs 21st premise in the op.

If we had the 8th pick in the past two drafts guys like these would have been available.

2014: Taylor Lewan, Zach Martin,
2013: Chance Warmack, DJ Fluker, Justin Pugh, Kyle Long

It's a higher grade of offensive lineman potentially.

I say go for it. Try to make the playoffs, try to advance. But Cam is going to keep us out of the top 10 for a long time in my opinion. It could be a long time before we have the opportunity to draft a franchise tackle.

I could be wrong but it seems that the past few years of drafts have had an inordinate amount of highly rated tackles go early in the first round that have poo the bed in the NFL so far.

Holy poo. Is this real life?

#3141985 Josh Norman talks in a circle (while trying not to talk)

Posted by Montsta on 18 December 2014 - 02:53 PM

This is like how John Connor sent Kyle Reese back to 1984 to protect his mother Sarah Connor, so that she could give birth to the leader of the human resistance, John Connor. But Reese goes back to 1984 and falls in love with Sarah Connor and gets her pregnant with the baby that will grow up to be John Connor. So if John Connor didn't send Reese back in time to protect Sarah, John would have never been born in the first place and wouldn't have existed to lead the humans and send Reese back in time to protect his mother.

:mind blown:

#3140339 Couple things on the Stew fumble play.....

Posted by Montsta on 17 December 2014 - 12:20 PM

The biggest problem is/was Stewart's ball control.

If you have 11 defenders on top of you, you still do not fumble the football. He did it again at a critical time that could have potentially cost us the game at the end there.

Yea the line, and Bell in particular, aren't great but there has been immensely talented RB's that didn't last a season in the NFL because they couldn't stop fumbling the ball.

The blame on that lies with Stewart.

Carolina Browns?

Is that what you get after eating too much Bojangles in one sitting?

The guy on the bottom left looks a lot like Sean McDermott.

Also Richie from Happy Days.

Professional athletes have an open forum to speak their minds on various social issues and that's fine.

That being said, if you look to professional athletes for advice on social issues, finances, religion, politics, or basically on anything outside of the sport they play, you are an idiot.
