No reason to be ashamed of losing in Seattle...

11 January 2015 - 10:18 AM

Better teams have gone into Seattle and been ran out of the place. The Panthers played a good game, and made it interesting until the 4th quarter. The defense played very well, with a few mishaps on 3rd down.

You guys have nothing to hang your heads about. Congrats on a good season, a playoff win for this team, and the first back to back division titles in NFCS history.

Here's to a more competitive NFCS in 2015.

Congrats from your resident Saint

Congrats on b2b division titles guys and gals. Records aside, that's quite the accomplishment in the NFCS. You guys are playing great football right now, and I've been saying for a couple weeks that if you get in, you could make some noise.

Here's to a win next week and making the media shut up about our division. With the roll you're on, you can play with anyone.

Congrats guys. Enjoy it.

Congrats on the win fellas...

Been a horrible season here in the NFCS. Congrats on the win guys and gals. Grade A ass kicking. Panthers came out and dominated on both sides of the ball. Enjoy the win for a week. In the NFCS this year, that's all you can ask for.

Rough week for Charlotte teams against New Orleans teams!

Get ready for a Pelican smack down tonight! It'll be ok. At least you're in the sorry ass East and will make the playoffs, only to make a quick exit. Oh, and you have your dumb ass name back!

Geaux Pels! Who Dat!

Battle for Early NFCS Supremacy

29 October 2014 - 02:07 PM

So far the battle for who gets to be the King of the South has been a battle of who can suck the least. Neither of these teams has performed up to expectations. Both have struggled on both sides of the ball at times, and have shown flashes on both sides of the ball at times. Both fan bases are hoping for a turn in the right direction and a late season push.

The Panthers are coming off a hard fought loss at home to the defending champs. While the Seahawks haven't looked anything like the team they were last year, they're still a formidable opponent and not someone to hang your head about losing to. The defense had it's best performance to date and the offense seemed to move the ball effectively, just stall out in the redzone. Is the change on defense a sign of things to come? Or just an aberration?

The Saints are coming off of a comfortable win against the red hot Packers at home. While we all know why the Saints bring in the Superdome, the trick is to carry the momentum on the road, were after Thursday night, the Saints will have already played 5 games. The offense was clicking and while the defense gave up a ton of yards, they buckled down in the redzone and forced field goals and a turnover. Again, a sign of things to come? Or an aberration?

Anyway, here's to a fun, injury free game! While the teams records will make this a boring game for fans outside of the South, it's the most important game of the year for at least two teams fan bases. I would wish you good luck, but I wouldn't mean it! Any questions? Fire away. I don't plan on responding to much poo talk, as I know Zods running a bit of a tight ship right now.
