I will be flying from Washington state all the way to NC this Wednesday and will be staying till Monday (of course going to the panthers game on sunday) and was looking for some fun things to do/see and good places to eat (other than bojangles and cookout). Any tips on game day as well would be nice! Will be staying in center of charlotte so walking to the stadium won't bother me one bit. Thanks!
And just an fyi for those who can't find my old youtube account (Nflpantherso7)...Saint fans on there flagged it down so all my videos and work is now permanently gone. I made a new one though called Nflpanthers07media for those interested!
ANYWAYS, Keep Pounding!
Well I don't know where you're staying or if you're renting a car but if you like amusement parks then definitely check out Scarowinds. Also Concord Mills Mall is nice but it's a little far from the city. That Checkers hockey game seems good to go to also. If you like museums you could check out Discovery Place uptown.
No one has played Atlanta as good as we did today all year. And on that 4th and 1 you punt it and make them go the distance with no timeouts. Remember what happened when we went for it against the Saints in week 2? So if we miss we let Ryan have a short field to work with? You think Rivera thought they were going to bomb it on us from their own 1? Stop blaming losing on a particular person. We win as a team and lose as a team.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- The Carolina Panthers are working on plans to upgrade Bank of America Stadium, probably including new video boards and escalators. Team president Danny Morrison would not say whether the NFL team will ask for public support for the renovations. Some city officials have indicated they would support using taxpayer dollars to upgrade the 16-year-old stadium. City Councilman James Mitchell says the city has helped the Charlotte Bobcats NBA team and is helping the Charlotte Knights minor league baseball team. Mayor Anthony Foxx sent a letter to Panthers owner Jerry Richardson on Tuesday inviting him to discuss stadium renovation plans with the city council. Morrison has not said how much the renovations might cost. But he says he's happy the mayor is asking about the plans.
Your guys thoughts on seeking tax dollars to upgrade the stadium?
Watched it again tonite. Just set TiVo to record everything "Carolina Panthers" and you're golden!
They did a really great job of editing to make 2011 look way way way more exciting in 30 minutes than it was watching all 16 hours. If we play even half as good as our 2011 highlight reel make us look, everyone should be running scared.
Of course, I also watched the 2010 highlight reel last year, and that one was just pitiful. Was nice to see that the editors had trouble cutting down to just 30 minutes for once.
Did you record it? Can you post it here for us please?
