#2570632 Panthers likely to begin contract discussions with Cam this Offseason

Posted by Beast_3000 on 29 December 2013 - 02:40 PM

We extend him.

6 years $90M.

Rivera - 4 years 18M

Would love both of those contracts. Although I think it will have to be a tad more for Cam. But I hope I am wrong and you are right.

Listening to the Gross show has shown me that there are some good people on this team. You just don't hear thugs and illiterates as you might with some teams. DWill is a great guy, which makes it so easy to root for this team.

I agree. We hate on Hurney but he made sure that the players he brought in, and retained, were high character guys that wanted to put in work.

He understood that young men on occasion made small mistakes and bounced back to become stronger better people. Now Hurney's contracts !!?????? I don't know what the fug he had going through his skull.

Thank you for sharing promethean-fore runner

#2542660 I'll say it again.....Keenan Allen

Posted by Beast_3000 on 13 December 2013 - 06:56 AM

You really think he would have half those stats in this offense?

Phillip Rivers throws him open with anticipation bc of Allens good route running. Cam still needs work on that part.

He is good. I was one who was put off by his injury and workout.

If anything Kenny Stills was there in the 4th, and yes he was a known product too.

I think KK gets taken over Allen still in a redraft by the Panthers...Stills over Kugbilla? Gotta be Stills.

I think Alshon would have been the better receiver for Cam...o well we all can dream I guess.

Personally I think we win Sunday. But, you wills ee how little respect we actually have if we do lose.

Yeah it is crazy how the media looks at the Panthers. When we play anyone outside of Tampa the so called analyst point to the mistakes that the other team made not the plays that Carolina made to cause the turnovers or 3 and outs.

I like the criticism. I think it gives the team the will to prove the naysayers wrong. Hopefully that will continue.

People can have all the false hope in the world and beat their heads against the wall every year, but what has happened this year is truly rare in the NFL..

Majority of the time teams with this type of run fall to pieces later down the road and the following year sink back into their losing ways. So far so lucky.

I don't think we are lucky. We are winning now because Rivera plays to win and not to lose. We were 2-14 in one score games because of Rivera. If he coached like this last year we would be 9-7 or 10-6 at a minimum.

Our record this year is an indication of a team that has made improvements and a coach that has made adjustments to his philosophy.
We are what we are. The Buffalo game gave Ron and the team the adversity needed to dig deep and change

If we beat the Saints Sunday, we should easily be number 1 and will easily be the best team in the NFL by a big margin.

I will say we are #2. We lost to the Seahawks fair and square.. Turnovers are part of the game.

I think we have the best chance to beat the Hawks if we play them again. Richard Sherman is brilliant in coverage. He is the difference maker that we do not have, but our front seven is better.

#2525605 What Saints Fans are Saying

Posted by Beast_3000 on 03 December 2013 - 09:50 AM

The Saints are a carbon copy of the Seahawks ......lol get the fug outta here

Russell Wilson is really really good but he isn't as good as Drew Bree's just yet. In every other position outside of tight end Seattle is better. Brees missed several open receivers because of the pressure that Seattle had on the Saints.

Our front 7 is better than Seattle. Most Seattle fans will tell you that. I do have concerns with our secondary but I am confident we will put the best players out there so we can compete. I think we will need mobile Cam to be effective in The dome but I like our chances.

Dayton Florence should start, and so should Captain, but Captain should be lined up inside.

Man I can't wait for the next 4 weeks.

#2521683 PIE for Everyone

Posted by Beast_3000 on 01 December 2013 - 04:27 PM

Excellent game... We are a very dominant team I am convinced.

What other quarterback in the league can jump from the 2 yard line over the line and score.

I want a piece of that New Orleans pie now!!!

As a Columbia resident I am disappointed in the fan base in South Carolina.

I see tons of Cowboy fans and Redskins fans and Pittsburg Fans .... I am finally starting to see the Panther bandwagon crew come on out .....

He slipped and fell out of bounds on that synthetic surface they use on the sidelines. Plenty of folks have goten hurt on that surface as well. It was hardly intentional.

I thought so too. I thought he was laughing at himself for falling like a skater on ice. We could be wrong though.

ummmm... this has to be the dumbest coached half of football from Mcdermott I have seen since our win streak started... The challenge is equally dumb.

Why are you falling for play-action, when they have not run the ball successfully yet?

#2501267 Double Dip Drafting

Posted by Beast_3000 on 20 November 2013 - 12:17 PM

I have always been a little envious of the wide receiver depth of teams like the Packers, but a tough line would make us sooooo hard to beat with our stable of backs.

This is a moot issue. Lester intercepts that ball regardless of pass interference and regardless if Gronk had the ability to come back for the ball.
