Posted by fieryprophet on Today, 06:19 PM

It should be illegal to allow that idiot on TV.

Every fan base hates their OC. Why? Because fans are retarded half wits who think they know what the hell is going on on the field because they lose on Rookie in Madden, that's why.

#2952076 Rivera's post game presser

Seem like during the game they said it was Richardson's decision.

Ron wouldn't say so even if it was.

Stoic Ron has been completely replaced by Riverboat Ron.

I don't understand the backwoods hicks references. North Carolina is home to the 2nd largest technology hub in the world after Silicon Valley, has datacenters out the wazoo, and is the world leader in biotech and agritech.

#2940581 Terrific Brandon Williams Piece via BBR

Posted by fieryprophet on 10 September 2014 - 07:21 AM

http://www.oregonliv...rney_to_th.html

He was once broke and broken, working for pennies in Portland while mending a shattered dream, so Brandon Williams can't help but smile at his own story.

"I know, rags-to-riches right?'' the 26-year-old says, sitting in the Carolina Panthers locker room. "But if I wouldn't have gone through what I did, I wouldn't appreciate what I have now the way I do.''

He is in his second year as a reserve tight end with the Panthers, a long shot story that nearly didn't happen, right up to when the doctor standing between him and a contract died of a heart attack.

He always dreamed he would be a professional football player, but doctors at the University of Oregon abruptly ended his career because of what they believed was a dangerous spinal condition.

Instead of a career headed for stardom, as a coach at Oregon forecasted, Williams dabbled in basketball, playing half a season for Portland Bible College, while also pursuing his passion for law enforcement. He applied at Portland Police, who suggested he get experience. So he worked security jobs ranging from $9.50 to $11 an hour.

"He was a very viable candidate for us, but the best thing we ever did was not hire him,'' says George Burke, a commander for the Portland Police Bureau who served as a mentor for Williams. "Because his story is just short of a miracle when you think about it.''

#2940040 Until found guilty by a jury of your peers.

I find the entire aspect of allowing judges to rule on cases before they go to a jury quite disturbing. There's a reason the Constitution specifies for jury trials: judges cannot be trusted to be impartial.

#2938253 Can We Read Anything Into Chico's Panther Talk Comments?

Posted by fieryprophet on 08 September 2014 - 11:07 PM

Wow this is funny stuff! As an actuall part time resident of Puerto Rico and fellow boricua, let me weigh in

Chico = boy (literally)

Chico = dude or bro (slang)

Article showing Ron and Chico nickname
http://chicagoist.co...and_the_man.php

Is this what it's come to, I'm supposed to feel like a victim of racism if someone calls me Chico? Lol

Yet again, this board forces me to PIE Big A. You bring this on yourselves, Huddlers. . .

#2934160 What we learned about today's game against Tampa Bay

Posted by fieryprophet on 07 September 2014 - 06:23 PM

Tampa wanted to win too. We won a tough division road season opener without our star QB. Enjoy it and stop being mouth breathing imbeciles.

#2915793 Is Cam Newton Really A Franchise QB

Posted by fieryprophet on 30 August 2014 - 01:15 AM

It's funny how this forum responds to any negative criticism of Cam. All of OP's thoughts are reasonable.

Reasonable? Based on what? Is Cam perfect? No. Does he throw off his back foot at times? Yes. Does he make bad decisions at times? Yes.

But so what? Anyone who's actually watched quarterback play will see that every quarterback alive does these things to varying degrees. Nobody's remotely close to perfect, even the QBs OP thinks Cam has to be compared to. Brady's deep ball has abandoned him, Peyton can't throw a deep out to save his life, Rodgers uses his mobility just as much as Cam does to extend plays, Brees is mortal outside of a dome, Andrew Luck makes even dumber decisions than Cam but has a horseshoe lodged in his rectum, etc. etc.

Is Cam a franchise quarterback? Yes, by a factor of a billion.

The fact that someone even asks the question shows their obvious ignorance on what a franchise quarterback looks like.

So, if I come off as judgmental and anal about the topic; well, it's because I am a raging asshole and DGAF. And I'm right.

#2915774 Is Cam Newton Really A Franchise QB

Posted by fieryprophet on 30 August 2014 - 01:04 AM

I am just looking at some old games ( 2012 and 2013). Looking at him, his is still making and struggling with the same issues. I know I shouldn't, but I always compare every QB to Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, they hardly get sacked. This is not because their O-lines are that great, but because they feel when pressure is near. Cam is still getting sacked when sometimes he can avoid. It is still frustrating to see him as a thrower. He is an extremely inconsistent and streaky. His mechanics are poor with him throwing off his back foot and unbalanced causing the ball to sail high. I guess is this why they drafted the 6'5'' Kelvin B. I tend to wonder if the front office is sold on him as the future , because Im not. This has to be his make or break year. Love Cam as a person, the best thing that could happen to the Charlotte area, but not my choice for the future. I really like Blake Bortles , I see the Jags going somewhere with him. Thanks for your views and replies.

Cam's fine.

The fanbase? A bunch of effing retards.
