liberals are fuging up by attempting to draw parallels between police response to this and the police response in baltimore, ferguson, et al because
1) the protesters had legitimate grievances
2) these gangs exhibited wayyy worse behavior than the protesters
3) police response in this case was actually relatively appropriate
jokingly comparing the two legitimizes the idiots who would seek to use this instance of gang violence in waco as proof that police treat everyone equally, or that property damage in baltimore in response to police brutality/murder is somehow equivalent to these retarded manbabies killing each other over a parking dispute.
unless a person signs a sworn affidavit beforehand clearly stating that their attack(s) on a person due to their sexuality, religion, race, etc. aren't intended to generate and spread fear then it is truly ludicrous to charge them for the clearly unintended consequences of additional fear and anxiety experienced throughout the targeted community
this is why, for example, the murder of emmett till shouldn't be remembered as a hate crime before hate crime laws but instead a truly "random act of violence perpetrated by people who had a "violent impulse towards something they didn't like." and really just as it's "ludicrous" to charge people for the effects on society that their actions have had (unless they do it in a hood and robe or something lol) it's really quite "ludicrous" that the larger community would react to such "random" violence with fear. looks like these communities, as well as those who commit violent acts in a purely "random" fashion, all have some growing up to do.
while i enjoy hearing conservatives whine about things that they don't understand as much as the next guy i would just like to take this moment to point out that hate crime legislation exists because of the far reaching impact of hate crimes. they're essentially isolated acts of terror and should be treated as such. beating a gay person to death or dragging a black man behind your pickup truck specifically because of what they are and what they represent is a political and/or religiously motivated attack on society, meant to instill fear in others. fug the people who commit hate crimes and fug people who try to diminish the impact of hate crimes imo
it isn't like jr does this jingoistic poo for free; that's valuable time that could be spent advertising chicken and security systems to fat, paranoid fans. they do it because it makes rubes feel real good about their experience at the game because you know the panthers really support the brave troops fighting for freedumbs worldwide lol
what about their culture, what about their families, what about the riots, what about the precious property, what about their criminal records, what about what about what about literally any fuging thing other than the people who killed freddie gray
this guy, much like black radicals before him, open carries as a show of force and a call for freedom. however the similarity ends the moment we ask them each the same set of questions: freedom from whom? to do what? it's clear why the black radical sought freedom. ppl like this guy? uhhhhhh
