A suspension won't stick. If they try he will appeal and he will win.

#3236123 Will Steve Smith affect Torry Smith's opinion of signing with the Panthers?

Posted by CarolinaCoolin on 09 February 2015 - 04:20 PM

Torrey smith would be perfect here. We need someone for the deep balls and Torrey smith is perfect for that or drawing DPI. He leads the league in drawing those calls. He is going to reasonably priced. We'd be lucky to get him

Worth noting Cyrus Kouandjio's twin brother is in this draft. May not even get drafted.

He doesn't have a twin. That's his older brother Arie.

Where did you get your law degree?

We had an attorney on the podcast this week who does this for a living that says its not uncommon to do time for an A1 misdemeanor.

I'd like to know your qualifications for your argument against.

Harvard. Where did your ace Carolinian lawyer get his education? Nc state? :D

#3230539 4 Things Greg Hardy Must Do to Remain a Panther

Still sad to see folks making Hardy the victim here. He was paid 15 million dollars to sit at home and made an extremely poor decision that ended up dragging the Panthers organization through the mud. He's hardly a victim, nor is it a guarantee he will be innocent, but too many folks on here just can't take off the black and blue glasses.

What was fun about the second half of this season was watching a very young team grow up before our eyes. We established a great young core of talent, let Cam become the leading voice of the offense, and set ourselves up in a position to be a consistent winner for the first time in franchise history. Was that an easy process? Absolutely not. But at the end of the day, you'd have a hard time convincing me there wasn't a lot of progress this past season.

To bring Greg Hardy back into the fold after all of that progress would be IMO taking a step back and stunting the growth of the young unit that looked like 2013 by season's end. Add in the fact that CJ still has a massive cap number on the D-line and there are a ton more needs on the offensive side of the ball, and bringing Greg Hardy back just doesn't make alot of sense, especially when Rosenhaus is going to be involved in the negotiations.

Hardy got the panthers name dragged through the mud or the panthers let Hardy get his name dragged through the mud? Please take some time to really think about whose name looks the worst in all this. The team who doesn't stick up for there guy when facing media pressure or Hardy getting branded as a woman beater with no due process and losing an entire year of his limited playing career.

Poor Poor Hardy........ Put himself in a position to make millions, allow illegal drugs to be consumed in his presence (he could of removed himself or the situation from the premises, but chose not to), and yet he is the poor poor victim.

Hell, I am a fan, I have paid over $20,000 since the first season. I am the VICTIM. Where the hell are you speaking for what I am entitled. I don't make some 10 million a year, but yet I will scream from the top of my lungs for your right.

He's not guilty, may not ever be guilty, but that doesn't matter.

We have a Culture ....and that isn't part of it.

Your actions will tell if you want to be a part of a Culture. Sometimes you get 2 strikes, even 3 strikes. Sometimes you don't. You have a choice. Make a wise one.

You're the victim? You were the one who had your name on tv screens and and computers stating you were a woman beater? Getting compared to Ray rice?

HE called the cops, he tried to remove her from his place. She ran and she pressed charges first. Why would he leave his residence? He isn't the one on drugs acting crazy. Grow up and stop thinking everything is about you. Hardy has had his name, his reputation, and his lively hood put in jeopardy. You are no victim. Actually...

Maybe you are the victim. Because you are to blind and to dumb to comprehend the gross inequality when it comes to DV issues in America.

Hardy is done. He screwed Carolina. Yet people act like he is the victim still.

Hardy was the one who got screwed. By the judge, by the media, by the league, and by the team not standing behind their player explaining to the nation how the North Carolina justice system works. But they left him on his own to have his name dragged through the mud on something it's not even proven if he's done.

No back bone by the team caused Hardy not to play. The panthers could have chosen to play Hardy because we all know the bench trial means jack poo once he appeals but no. They caved and they are the reason he got paid for doing nothing all season.

Imagine deciding to play, missing the birth, then getting blown out in the superbowl by 21 points....

Imagine going to the birth, missing the super bowl, then your child is a disappointment....

I was born into a prominently and fairly young female family -- 22 pregnancies and counting.

Yeahhhhhh, and playing the game does involve some knowledge about how the female mind works.

Carry on, sport.

One would think that being born into a family with a lot of females you would be a bit more respecting to the gender but I guess that's not as easy as being a sexist asshole.

Good analysis

Pretty accurate analysis of a thread that gives no commentary and a link you have to pay for to hear.
