#3288585 Joe Montana NFL Football 16... AKA NFL 2k16... Madden's tyrannical monopo...

Yeah, if playing a lame ass trading card game that encourages you to pay to win is your thing.

Sorry, this is definitely up for discussion... and MyPlayer blows that money grabbing poo away. Hell, even Madden Ultimate Team is better than FUT.

"Lame ass trading card game"

"Even madden ultimate team is better than FUT"

Ok yeah you just lost all credibility. You're done.

#3288563 Just a reminder on how "supporting our troops" actually works

I love when CWG makes threads because you can be assured of two things.

1) it will always have some snarky title
2) it will just be a link.

Now 2 is important because it shows CWG doesn't really have original thought. Everything he thinks is already said by other people for him. He doesn't need to think at all. Just follow.

It's just sad Ray rice had to ruin things for everybody

Yeah, if this is true... wow. This is fuging huge.

Those quotes where it says it makes Madden look like a PS1 by comparison are awesome. People have been sick of EA's poo for years - yet us football junkies would buy it anyways... Madden has been one of the biggest scams in gaming, but there was no other choice.

NBA 2K's MyPlayer mode is probably about the best thing going on in sports games right now. God, what I'd do to have that in an NFL game.

Fifa ultimate team is the best thing in any sports game. That isn't even up for discussion

I remember saying that as soon as Hardy signed elsewhere, a solid percentage of the board would go full on stupid.

Looks like some folks are getting an early start.

Fans are upset one of the teams best players is being let go in one of the worst fashions in team history.

Geez what a hot take that is mr scot!! Anymore mythical sage wisdom from you?

What's the weather going to be like tomorrow? What's the Star Wars episode 7 release date? These are questions only you have answers to oh wise one please tell us.

#3284376 Compensatory picks and the long game

Posted by CarolinaCoolin on 14 March 2015 - 02:29 PM

They had the chance to get him to a cheaper deal that offseason, but decided to wait. Should be a lesson to other teams.

They didn't wait flacco did. He bet on himself and won big.

#3283625 Raiders in discussions with Greg Hardy

I can see that angle too. From a maturity standpoint, I would just lay low rather than trying to start a career calling women bitches etc. Not a good look.

I'm not going to fault a guy for trying to keep occupied while the league basically told him to go fug himself for a year and counting.

Should say resigned

#3281267 Gettleman: Oher can be answer at left tackle

Posted by CarolinaCoolin on 12 March 2015 - 08:13 PM

Ugh, did you even read my post above that where I quoted you? I listed two players that weren't really options and there is not much left after that.

You're the one that keeps acting like you know how to run a franchise and criticize the FO but won't list any I your ideas to improve the team at the tackle position.

He knows if he lists anything all faux credibility he's tried to acquire will be blown to hell because once he does try to do a better job than Gettleman he will be exposed for a know-nothing with shitty ideas but a big mouth

#3280889 Vikings shopping Cordarrelle Patterson

Posted by CarolinaCoolin on 12 March 2015 - 06:29 PM

I love how on the huddle a free agent thread will pop up and you'll automatically have half the people against it no matter what. All with various reasons why this player is a problem all failing to realize every player who is on the market at this time comes with issues. There's no such thing as a perfect FA. They either cost to much, have character concern, or aren't that good anymore.

As for Patterson, for that price he's a steal. If I was Gettleman I'd make a call Atleast to inquire

#3278788 Gettleman is cruising the other side of the highway, just chilling.

Posted by CarolinaCoolin on 12 March 2015 - 01:27 AM

OP is right though. Gettleman has had a vision the moment he was hired and hasn't deviated from that path. We haven't spent outside our means to get out of cap hell. We've hit on our draft picks and got some quality starters, we are building solid depth. We are managing the cap correctly to sign OUR premier guys.

And that last sentence is important because we all know how it feels to want to keep one of our stars but not be able to because of bad contracts. Gettleman is making it so we get to keep our stars and if that means we have to not sign some other teams super stars or guys who are going to get overpaid that is fine.

Back to back playoffs and we haven't even gotten to the real meat of gettlmans plan. We are still a year or two away from seriously dominating teams.

You know how seattle seemingly came out of nowhere to now a powerhouse of the NFL? Pretty much this exact same way. Hit your draft picks, build solid depth, excellent coaching and game planning. That's what we are doing

#3277861 Bill Voth dropping knowledge, perspective and some clarity for the cliff jumpers

Posted by CarolinaCoolin on 11 March 2015 - 03:52 PM

All this suggests is that you dont intricately understand how those teams work and leaves me apathetic towards your sentiment as a whole

The reason these teams are better is because they have better players. Save for Denver the two teams who made it to the Super Bowl drafted and developed their talent while adding effective but reasonable FA.

We are building just like those teams so your argument is dumb.

#3277777 Cam's relationship with Jameis Winston?

Posted by CarolinaCoolin on 11 March 2015 - 03:21 PM

Not surprising at all. I see a lot of cam in Winston. I'm sure they see a lot of eachother in themselves. They are cut from the same cloth. Big fan of both these guys it's cool for them to training together. Lebron and KD train together. Greats do this sorta thing
