Cam, Rivera, etc have all said we will run the same offense.
Yesterday, Cam only said calling his play would be simplified....bc everyone should know what to do instead of him barking out so much
Everyone talks like a 4 game window out of 32 is now "Chuds O" and the rest didnt exist
That's not what were talking about. Those 4 games were atrocious and most of the situational play calling was as well.
But were talking about keeping everyone in rhythm. Getting to the line quick, Cam sending out the information and having time on the play clock. Too many times last year Cam was clapping his hands quickly to get the ball out before the playclock wound down.
I think they just want to play to Cam's strengths, which is fast. Simplifying the verbage is playing faster, it's not simplifying the actual play. I think were gonna see some no huddle looks this coming season.
because everybody can handle a situation in the exact same way? It just doesn't work that way. He fuged up, he knows he fuged up and he is trying to make it back. What isn't there to like about that? I don't get the hate when he obviously has put in the work. I never felt sorry for him, but i gained a different perspective on his situation. Which i'm sure a lot of other people did.
If he lost 50 lbs and still has plenty of weight to lose he must have been way way way overweight. Hard to believe he has the singlemindedness to play quarterback in the NFL given he never had it in college. If 50 million didn't motivate him the first time, it is hard to believe the vet minimum would do it now. Just because he loses weight doesn't mean he has the mind set to excel.
but it also shows commitment. A major committment. Losing 50 lbs isn't easy. Sometimes money isn't a motivating factor for everyone. I think he is truly embarassed and wants to right his wrong. I hope the best for him.
"Newton followed up his rookie record-breaking 2011 season, in which he won the Offensive Rookie of the Year award, with an impressive sophomore season in 2012. Last year, he threw for more than 3,800 yards, while rushing for more than 700 yards.
Is everyone now starting to realize he didn't have a slump? What the fug.
