#3303509 Panthers checking out more OL Depth

The only thing we should fear is rivera not putting the best players on the field like he has shown time and time again.

that law that passed in indiana IS the devil's work.

there are some things the government needs to step in and and say "hey neanderthals this is just fuged up, stop being fugheads and be decent human beings" or maybe "follow jesus' teachings you fugsticks"

there are certain levels of human decency that need to be retained. History has shown allowing certain communities to dictate morality is beyond retarded, like my example.

i understand where twylight is coming from tho tbh about government overreaching this is just dumb though.

#3299230 Rivera confirms Panthers will be drafting a RB

Posted by TheRumGone on 25 March 2015 - 06:03 PM

Fozzy isn't a workhorse or featured back, that's obvious.

He adds another element to our offense though

#3299201 Rivera would like to see Cam signed long-term before 2015 season

Posted by TheRumGone on 25 March 2015 - 05:45 PM

And the other half doesn't know what a holdout is.

If Cam truly wanted to sit out a year i'd bet a lot of money someone would still be willing to pay him the following season.

If Cam made it clear he'd rather sit out than play under the tag, I'm sure Gettleman rather trade him than use up a large junk of cap space on nothing... again.

Cam newton would never ever sit out an entire season. You must be high

#3298959 Panthers now have two 5th round comp picks, not 5th and 6th

Posted by TheRumGone on 25 March 2015 - 04:06 PM

Did you guys hear that you can't trade comp picks and that low fifth rounders are actually six round picks?

I don't expect DG to hit on all these picks but adding more competition with young athletes is always a good thing for training camp.

I'd like to see MHS post more in the tinderbox. Hes a smart guy even if I think he's being unreasonable with cam.

He's written books and has like 10 thousand degrees

au-panther and marguide. although they don't post enough. both are very knowledgeable. I think marguide just lurks during the offseason. But AU-Panther is on point with cap stuff

i particularly like frash and I Mean He Was Found Guilty/Nicks to the Colts/ I Registered To Post This and the Fuzz because they poo all over poo posters and it's funny.

#3294790 Selling My Car And Moving to Southern Cal.

Posted by TheRumGone on 22 March 2015 - 03:49 PM

why go all the way to LA? head to wilmington or new orleans, which are both infinitely cheaper, less choked with starving artists looking for a break, and still some of the biggest film production locales in the USA. if you insist on cashing in on your car, using some of the money to go to bartending school, if that fits you and you're not prone to alcoholism, and land a job somewhere in one of those cities. you'll have a transferable job skill in a position of constant need and make some serious cash while you try to land gigs or hone your craft.

this is advice from someone who once sold everything he owned and bought a one-way ticket to australia. everything turned out ok, but coming back with literally $0.27 in my pocket caused me major financial problems and a bit of depression, too, for various reasons. don't sell your dreams short on account of the well-intended advice of fifty year old cubicle rats bitter they never followed theirs, but have a contingency plan in mind too, and be willing to look at your goals as a long-term, integrated plan, and not a flip-of-the-coin do-or-die moment. good luck dude

edit: sz james and dex are our local film guys i think, you might edit your title or shoot them a PM asking them to post in this thread with their experiences breaking into the industry. they're on the other side of the camera i think, but still i'd imagine they've got plenty to say

bbq&beer is in the industry too i believe

#3294684 From Bridgewater to Newton...but...

Posted by TheRumGone on 22 March 2015 - 02:40 PM

how did we have two 1k receivers then?

I'm not saying Shula isn't conservative and can be borderline awful but Cam spreads the ball around a ton.

I'm looking at clutch grabs on 3rd down. Jennings should fit that bill.
