#2834634 First Job Interview (Post College)

Posted by ladypanther on 28 June 2014 - 07:30 PM

Research the company. Have some good questions prepared. As others have said....be genuine. Also be flexible and open. Google interview questions for the type of job you are interviewing for. Prepare answers. Also prepare for the questions about your strength and weaknesses question. Turn your weakness into a strength.such as new to the job field, but willing to learn, put in the time, etc.

Good luck!!

#2824178 Why the Panthers are the best damn team in the National Football League

Posted by ladypanther on 19 June 2014 - 12:59 AM

Long story short.. The road show was a disaster. I was one of the first to arrive but, because of people cutting in line I fell back nearly 250 spaces. 300 Was the cutoff line. An autistic child cried and the Panthers Staff asked the mom to keep the boy quiet. She asked if their was anything that can be done for her son and treated her like trash. Another group of handicap women and children asked if they could just see Luke. The same Staffer talked down to them in an extremely disrespectful way. I told the guy "Look, you need to be doing your job and make sure these fugers don't cut in like" He blew up in my face saying "THIS ISN'T MY fuging JOB TO WATCH WHO DOES WHAT. THIS ISN'T MY PROBLEM" At one point a group of 49ers fans showed up screaming and cursing right in the general direction of handicap children. Staff didn't do a damn thing. Other side of the park a drunk homeless cowboy fan verbally abused fans until the police had to take him out of the park. Multiple incidents like this happened. The whole thing was a clusterfug. I heard about 100 people out of 10,000 got an autograph. That really only scratches the surface.

Long story shorter. Panther Staff verbally abused me and a group of autistic kids and made one cry while doing a terrible job.

I spent Monday on the phone with Panthers PR helping them figure out what changes need to be made for the next road show. They are sending me goodies in return.

You guys are completely taking this the wrong way. I worked with them all of Monday on how to improve their next road show. This is just my payment.

So....the feel good part of your humanitarian effort is that you are going to send your goodies to the autistic and handicapped kids.  Right?

#2812957 So Who Is Sir Purr?

Posted by ladypanther on 07 June 2014 - 08:49 PM

I need some inside information.  Who is the person under Sir Purr?  I heard it was a woman.  Do they have more than one person working under the cover?

So....if it is a woman, do you have a problem with that?

#2804957 Computer buying advice requested

Posted by ladypanther on 30 May 2014 - 10:21 PM

I bought this one:

Asus ET2411IUKI-06 All-in-One 23.6" Desktop i3 3.3GHz 6GB 1TB Windows 8

It is factory refurbished.  Reviews from PC sites recommended factory refurbished.  Just got it today.  Love it.  Windows 8.1 not as bad as I feared.  I am working around it.  This thing is fast.  Screen is a monster...23 " HD.  I was using a 15" laptop.  I am going to have to get a taller chair.

Now...have to see how this lasts.  First impression ....I am very impressed.  Paid $436.  No tax, free 2 day shipping.

Thanks for all the replies to this thread.  Everyone (well most everyone) helped me.

#2802744 OTA Observations

Posted by ladypanther on 28 May 2014 - 06:38 PM

i'm curious about stewart and williams too.

news is stewart looks good, but i'm concerned about williams dealing with the passing of his mother. that's not something everyone can bounce back from and get refocused so soon.

Very tough time for DWill...likely the worst time of his life.  He will not be at his best in the near future.  However, my guess is that he will dedicate the season to his mother and when the games count he will have a purpose.  Pain never goes away.  30+ years for me.  Just like yesterday.

I lost my mom to cancer last year and its just devastating, I feel horrible for him,,,

I know what he is going through and the best thing people can do is give condolences or leave him the fug alone about how he should be cut.

So sorry for your loss.
