Talking poo to a 5 year old? Woah, we got a badass over here.

I interpreted that as him talking poo to the dad for abusing his child with Steelers garbage.

#2964421 2014 Game by Game Analysis - Part 3

Posted by RoaringRiot on 19 September 2014 - 10:49 AM

haha yea man. im not just copy and pasting someone else's article. i do a few hours worth of research Monday through Wednesday, writing as i go along, and then do final editing on Thursday (or at least thats my plan).

i try to be as professional about it as possible, quoting when i use terminology used by someone else. but i rarely use someone else's words anyway. my research sources tend to be the NFL.com/ESPN.com injury reports, ESPN team clubhouses/depth charts, BleacherReport's OL/DL positional rankings, AccuWeather.com, and storylines that i pick up from the various articles written about the Panthers and their weekly opponent. When i add trivia or stats, i try to use ESPN's stats. Sometimes i will use NFL stat-database websites, but not always.

one thing i try hard not to do is to simply regurgitate the opinions of the media or even the Huddle as i write. i try to approach each game with an emotional bias toward the Panthers, but an overriding football objectivity.

and as always, i am open to feedback as far as how i can improve the write up and/or make it more interesting for Huddle readers.

My apologies for missing that initially. Respect the effort for sure.

This is going to be a tough night for me. My section us full of people who complain when others stand up. So, I'll be fighting two battles.

fug the steelers.

You stand and cheer or you get tossed. Only options.

I've heard the lots won't be opening until 2pm. In particular the French quarter lot. Can anyone confirm this?

I certainly can't speak with certainty, but why would they be closed? It's not like it's a work day and they have cars in them. It's a Sunday and they'll be empty. Most lots don't have gates to keep people out .

I do know one lot that definitely won't be closed.....601 S Cedar St.

#2963057 Panthers will be giving out rally towels on Sunday

Posted by RoaringRiot on 18 September 2014 - 03:56 PM

The Panthers really could sell those towels for a dollar a piece, cover their costs plus earn a good chunk of change for charity.

Lose the advertiser, make them blue, sell them for a dollar, people would be buying 10 at a time Sunday night.

I would buy one to wave and one to slap Steelers fans with. And then a few more as backups in case those were taken away by security.

If you haven't RSVPed for the tailgate yet and you want to be counted towards the food, then please do so by the end of the day. We will be totalling it up and ordering the food first thing Friday morning.

Thanks

I'll be there with maybe up to 3 adults and 2 kids as add-ons. unless they tailgate somewhere else.

I'll be there with 73 people. Unless the 73 people don't show up.
