#3094512 Someone with ESPN insider

Cam is already overpaid by 21 million, one winning season, one playoff loss and mediocre play, he is MAYBE worth vet minimum and even then im not so sure hes even worth the roster spot. Why cant you guys see he is clearly a sub par QB on pretty much every level, what a complete and utter disaster if we pay Cam a hundred million, you think D Will and Stew contracts set this franchise back?! Lol just wait if Cam gets a hundred mill deal. Disaster.. complete disaster. Let Csm walk, draft a QB in the 2nd round and have him sit behind DA for a season or two. Do it the old fashion way, let Cam go be a backup for some other team. Im done with Cam, he is hopeless. He is a lame duck and you are blind if you dont see it. Cam wants a hundred million and no way Gman pays him anything remotely close to that, as a result Cam will walk.

#3093576 SuperCam Detractors... answers needed...

Posted by CharlottePanther on 17 November 2014 - 03:40 PM

I am so certain Cam is NOT the answer at QB id be willing to let him walk and risk him becoming a superstar elsewhere, yes hes that bad and I know for certain he wouldnt become a great player elsewhere. His mechanics are terrible, his complete unwillingness to throw the ball away, his terrible pocket presence and his terrible deep ball, he is an awful awful QB and I hope Gettleman has the guts to let him walk and we draft a QB in the 2nd round.

Before you say "but but QBs are hard to find in the draft." Ok, so the solution is paying a below mediocre QB like Cam 100 plus million?! How about we save the 80 mill and draft a QB on the cheap in later rounds.

Dalton, Kaeprnick, Wilson. ALL drafted after the first round and I would trade Cam for any of them in a split second

But can he play QB though?

#3090786 Ron Rivera Must Go

Posted by CharlottePanther on 16 November 2014 - 04:09 PM

I'm glad we lost. Let's be serious, we were never going to make the playoffs, and even if we did, we would just get embarrassed in the wildcard game. I just want us to continuing losing to get a good a draft spot and maybe trade our early 1st round pick to get a few extra picks. Just my two cents.

Lets be real, does anyone in their sane mind actually think Ryan wouldnt have marched down the field in field goal range even if we made that FG. Come on, 1:30 left to go against this D, might as well be a full qtr and all three time outs left.

Im kind of glad he missed the FG, it would have hurt worse when Ryan would have marched it down the field. I was 110% sure even if we made the FG, they would have still ended up winning anyway.

#3090733 Ron Rivera Must Go

Posted by CharlottePanther on 16 November 2014 - 04:06 PM

I hate Ron Rivera and his very existence. I hate him as a coach, a man and human being. I loathe him, despise him, I HATE HIM. He is a god damn theif scam artist scamming this team out or money. I have the same disdain for him as I do bernie maddoff.

Posted by CharlottePanther on 16 November 2014 - 02:53 PM

Oh look, another TD. I have said many things on here I havent meant, well this I mean with 100% sincerity. I hope this team gets sold and moves to LA, this team is dead to me. Im not switching teams, ive been losing interest in football slowly anyway.

Cam is a utter joke. Sign him to a big contract?!? You kidding me right?! I wouldnt sign him for vet minimum right now because Cam isnt even worth a roster spot right now let alone a big contract.

#3089487 Think About It

Posted by CharlottePanther on 16 November 2014 - 02:48 PM

I have truely lost interest, sure im watching the game right now but I have such a ho hum feeling like I literall could care less what happens. I just have no passion whatsoever for this team right now and frankly losing interest in football. It feels different this time, in years past I would be mad, im not even mad, I just have this feeling of not caring whatsoever.

#3085874 How many think we will get blown out by ATL

Posted by CharlottePanther on 13 November 2014 - 06:44 PM

I think im legit losing interest in football. I had to look up what our record was and who we play this weekend, that has NEVER happened, after this disaster of a season it just totally sucked all interest out of me for the game

#3084875 New strategy by Panthers front office and coaching staff: Let's all take...

Posted by CharlottePanther on 12 November 2014 - 10:49 PM

What I wouldnt give for Cam to throw this entire coaching staff under the bus.. Here is exactly what I would lovd Cam to say in his presser.

Joe Person: Cam, what do you think is wrong with this team?

Cam: Well, first and foremost I am to blame at times because of my bad decisions from time to time, so let me set the record straight that I am in no way free of any blame. Now with that said, the other problems we have right now is Mr. Rivera isnt taking enough chances, hes playing too conservative and doesnt trust this offense as a whole, next up is Shula, he also deserves blame for not being good at situational football whatsoever and lets not kid ourselves, our GM deserves blame as well for the dire situation at O line.

I dont care if its bad form, I dont care what the media would say. I will be perfectly honest, i still think Cam isnt a great QB, but if he just called out our coaches and GM on the record, my respect for him would sky rocket into infinity.

Two incompetent coaches, one cusp.

#3082149 1st take destroys the Panthers FO, "Panthers Sold Cam Newton Out"

Posted by CharlottePanther on 11 November 2014 - 03:30 PM

Cam will be a Bronco when Manning retires next season once he wins the SB, book it. He would be a perfect match there, Cam with that O line and weapons.. wow

I dont think I have ever seen a team look this bad.. This isnt even a bad team.. Jacksonville, Oakland, THOSE are just bad teams. No, what this current Panthers team reminds me of is as though there are abunch of guys out there in pads and uniforms that hate the game of football and they are all asking themselves what the hell they are thinking by choosing to play this sport..

This isnt a bad football team. This team as it stands now consists of abunch of guys that hate the game of football and go through the motions just to put food on the table for their families. Watching this team looks like a lot of guys that literally hate going to the their job, its like you took all the characters from the movie 'Office Space' put them in pads and uniform and there you have the 2014 Carolina panthers.

Im sorry, but this team does not deserve the respect of being called a "bad team." Thats just too insulting to teams like the Jags and Raiders that actually deserve being labeled a bad team and have actually earned that right.. This Panthers team is so bad right now they havent even earned the right to be classified as a bad team in the NFL.

#3080552 I'm sorry but I rooting for losses the rest of the way...

#3063016 Doubt inside BofA Cam is the future?

Posted by CharlottePanther on 01 November 2014 - 07:03 PM

You have ABSOLUTELY no idea what in the fug you're talking about.

The love Cam gets on here is quite ridicoulous.. What has he done?! One winning season and a playoff loss.. Not only that but he just isnt that great, hes average at best, not a world beater that deserves hundred million. If we sign Cam to a big contract we wont have money to fix our real issues.

He has bad footwork, questionable decision making skills and a terrible deep ball, not to mention his refusal to throw ball aways and take is out of FG range.

I would be perfectly fine letting Cam walk, fix the O line and get more respectable WR and just roll with DA behind a upgraded O line and upgrade WR corps and who knows, if Hardy is found not guilty we can just re sign him and make our D elite again.
