I would like to see 300 yards rushing and 200 passing. I want to see the Lions embarrassed

id prefer 300 passing and 200 rushing.

I want my team to dominate on D and have a solid - great O.

#2946804 Best metric for measuring an O?

Posted by MedellinHeel on 12 September 2014 - 11:10 PM

Shouldnt the best metric for an O be touchdown % and/or amount of points scored per drive?

This illiminates things like pace, defensive and ST td's, etc.

Or is there something I am missing here?

#2938053 Detroit prediction thread.....what you say?

Posted by MedellinHeel on 08 September 2014 - 08:55 PM

I am not sure we beat this DET team.

They have a really good DL.

Nice big receivers.

A Payton disciple calling plays.

Gonna need a hell of a game to pull this out. No mistakes and gonna need to stay aggressive the whole night.

#2936029 If you want to see how the game should be played (Broncos vs. Colts)

Med....I know your a longtime Huddler, a hardcore Panther fan, and provide a lot of valuable insight and perspective.

I'm not looking back at last year though.  I'm looking at this year.  I'm looking next week at Detroit.  One game at a time.

I wish I could just look ahead.

Die hard Tar Heels and Panthers fan.

UNC's defense has me stressed to no end.

Panther's O has me stressed.

The good thing is with the Panther's D we will be in a lot of games and win a good number. Regardless of the offense.

But damn I want complete dominance.

Michael Johnson is awesome? Dude had 3 sacks last year.

#2935473 How does it feel to be legit...

Posted by MedellinHeel on 07 September 2014 - 09:43 PM

For the first time in 5 years we 1-0 and have options...we beat a good team today let's go... The future is bright:.. And we dem boyz

This TB team sucks.

No OL

No QB

No D

Great to get a win but this TB team is not good. They will probably finish in the bottom 5-10 of the league.

What type of Offense did John Fox run before Peyton? What type of offense do they run now?

Talent often dictates scheme. If we had Peyton our offense would look similar to the Broncos.

Could we be a little more dynamic on offense with a QB like Cam, sure, but at this point I'm not complaining.

You think Fox or an OC runs that O?

Manning calls the plays and basically runs the O.

I just shake my head at the people who claim you must have a slow time of possession running O to be able to have an elite D.

It is actually just the opposite. If your D is bad you want to use a slow time of possession O to keep your poor D off the field. In a sense you hide them.

Basically you go and score quick, D gets a 3 and out on the 1st or 3rd possession. O comes back on the field and scores again. D goes out and gets another quick 3 and out. Rinse and repeat. This leads to blow outs.

Broncos are doing what every team should aspire to. Domination on BOTH sides of the ball.

Fug this only scoring 17-24 points every game. We have one of the most dynamic QBs in the game.

We fugging absolutly DOMINATED TB today for 3.5 quarters and they almost won the bloody game. No excuse for that poo.

#2935134 what you should take away from this game

Posted by MedellinHeel on 07 September 2014 - 08:32 PM

Please explain how Cam adds 10 TO 13 POINTS today... don't forget Shula.

This.

DA looked really crisp out there. Not sure Cam could have done much better esp throwing the ball.

Shula will handicap any QB to only scoring around 21 points.

Posted by MedellinHeel on 07 September 2014 - 06:26 PM

Now lets be serious, does anyone really think Cam would have played half as good as DA in his current state? This in gambling terms is what I would consider "playing with the house's money" Not only did we give our franchise QB a extra week to heal, we also won a game in the process.

I think RR realized TB sucks so we could afford to sit Cam.

I haven't been here long and I'm already tired of your posts...

I'm happy about this win with OUR backup QB.

Lets point out their starter is a career backup who showed why. Two absolutely bone headed INT's.

This game should have been a blow out.

#2934084 Panther Realities, Week 1

Posted by MedellinHeel on 07 September 2014 - 06:19 PM

Offense is way too slow and conservative.

This scoring 17-24 ppg week in week out is not optimal.

We need an upgrade at OC.
