Nick Foles has as many interceptions this season as he did all of last season,

Philly has jumped into the neutral zone on 3 different occassions. Wow.

Neither of these teams look very good.

I don't foresee them making the real renovations until next off season.  Money was approved to late to do anything of significance this year.

That saiid,  Hornets are having there training camp here in Asheville and I can't wait to go check out some practices.  Maybe I can do a little TC update when that comes around.

Is training camp at UNC-A again?

So awesome. A good time to be a Panther fan.

#2946053 2014 College Football Season

Posted by Omega Atrocity on 12 September 2014 - 04:00 PM

It's becoming a joke (football has been for a while).

College basketball is still reasonably interesting since there is more parity, but it is becoming less and less interesting to me every year.

If I wanted to watch major players outspend each other, I'd just watch pro sports exclusively.

I'm more of a basketball fan so I do enjoy the NCAA tourney. But between the 5 programs that are good every year in football and the "rivalries" and general awfulness of the fanbases, I'm pretty over college sports.

#2900985 Rumors the Hornets might be interested in Josh Smith

Posted by Omega Atrocity on 21 August 2014 - 10:49 AM

Josh Smith is literally the opposite of a stretch four. He is a historically bad 3 point shooter, yet he continues to chuck them like he can make them. Contracts aside, I would rather have Marvin than Josh Smith. He fits what we want to do, and isn't a chucker.

Take a look at his stats from last year:

26% 3P% on 3.4 shots per game. 26% is legendarily bad for someone who took 265 three pointers in a season.

#2883603 Give your end of season seedings

Posted by Omega Atrocity on 09 August 2014 - 10:22 AM

There are only three divisions, not four.

You acknowledged CHI and CLE were in the same division but put them in back to back seeds again...

I thought NBA gave all three divisions winners a top four seed but not a top three seed, so if Chicago and Cleveland had the two best records they would be 1-2 with the other two division winners taking 3-4. Was I have wrong?

Sent from my XT1049 using CarolinaHuddle mobile app

Goondal is right there. Division winners are guaranteed 4 seed at worst.

#2882929 Pre-season Game 1: Winners and Losers

I thought DeCoud looked good making up for Godfrey getting burned a couple of times early. Anderson looked pretty good too, I'm glad we have a decent backup.

#2880133 Love traded to CLE for Wiggins, Bennett, Pick

Posted by Omega Atrocity on 07 August 2014 - 01:33 PM

Irving

Waiters

James

Love

Varejao

That's 4 players that really need the ball in their hands a lot, with 1 awful defender in Irving, 1 sub-par defender in Love, and 1 incredibly uncaring defender in Waiters. James is a solid defender, and Varejao is a pretty good defensive center with a lot of injury history. I honestly don't see this lineup being a 100% win.

I've been stung by different nests like 4 times this year while mowing. This is a terrible year for them.
