#3222956 Bill Voth's chat with Gettleman: Understanding offseason plans

Dave's logic: Says he likes to pick the best player available.

Huddle logic: What Dave says is more of a guide than a rule. We will do whatever I say.

Most people miss the fact that BPA means BPA. DG likes to fill need in FA that way he can pick the best player. Not the best player of need.So if a top 5 pick falls to us and he is the best play we will pick him, no matter if that's QB or LT. DG has said if we end up with a log jam he is ok with that.

That 50 mbps doesn't do poo when I'm trying to get TV from bootleg websites.

Hope you use a VPN. Twc shares all data with Hollywood.

#3220846 A shining example of 'The Patriot Way'

Expect swift action by the League office... don't want any bad pub during SB week

The Pats obviously own the front office so I expect nothing. Hell I hope they cheap shot each other, nothing better than two cheaters trying to swindal each other.

#3215482 Is a staff change out of the realm of possibility now?

Posted by Snake on 21 January 2015 - 09:08 AM

I think people over emphasize learning a new system. Many teams have had success learning a new system their first year. Cam was explosive his first year with Chud. If shula is going to stay it shouldn't be because learning a new system is hard

Chuds and Shula systems are the same. Your confusing systems with playcalling. If we moved to a WCO I could promise you there would be growing pains.

I only hate the Hippie and Hipster ones. I think that fair.

#3212967 How do you feel about Dan Quinn in Atlanta

Mike Smith was a 10 win coach with a bad GM. I mean the odd are not in his favor IMO.

#3212932 Your thoughts on the NFC outcome ?

Posted by Snake on 19 January 2015 - 09:59 AM

The Hawks coaching staff tailors their game plans to their team's strengths and the opposing team's weaknesses. I've seen no evidence the Panthers coaching staff knows how to do that. Hopefully that changes.

Honestly, open your eyes then. Everyone wants to talk crap about our staff but they pushed through a lot of adversity this past season and the coaching staff did work with what they had. If they didn't we would have never made it as far as we did. Our problem is talent and Special Team.

SEAs defense is beastly not Wilson.

#3208391 49ers promote D line coach to head coach....

Posted by Snake on 16 January 2015 - 09:21 PM

It was veiled, but implied that one of the reasons they parted ways with Harbaugh was because he didn't say hello to Joan in Accounting or Vilma at the front desk, and because he didn't pickup trash in the locker room. They felt those were key things a head coach should be doing to support the team. To have some humility because the difference between confidence and arrogance is ignorance. Tomsula actually said Joan in Accounting is his financial advisor as well. I swear I'm not making this stuff up. What a trainwreck. I will love the taste of 49er tears for years to come.

Great plan if your looking for a best friend. Not so much if you are looking for a SB coach.

#3206324 John Fox to Bears

Posted by Snake on 15 January 2015 - 02:31 PM

He will have them in the playoffs next year IMO.

Not with Aaron Rogers in green bay. IMO Fox has his work cut out for him in the North.

#3206313 Duron Carter had dinner with Rivera and Gettleman lastnight.

Is anyone more interested in Rivera and Gettleman going to dinner together? Unity in the FO people!

Have you seen Dave. The man must go 6 dinner dates a day.

#3205711 Ravens tell Smith to take a little time out

Posted by Snake on 15 January 2015 - 12:55 AM

This year can't get any better. John Fox fired and Smith told to sit in time out.

Honestly, the more things I find out about these two the more I dislike them.
