#2740217 update: The illegal alien that rammed her car into me...

Posted by Doc Holiday on 15 April 2014 - 04:27 PM

I got a call this morning they sent her to Atlanta to be deported.I guess that is the end she won't spend any more time in jail.

I do feel bad for her kids.

deporting them is a slap on the wrist compared to serving jail time, if she has any money at all she will be back over here in a month. US boarder patrol is a joke, while the poorer of the Mexicans are the ones that make the news trying to run over the boarder there are much safer fool proof ways of getting here if you have the coin.

Last one that we deported was relieved that he wouldn't be serving jail time, basically told me straight up that he'd be back in a couple of months, and would use the free trip back to visit family for a bit. Our immigration system works just fine..... Not.....

#2734767 My neighbor set up house on fire...

Every time you think about not going after them with a lawyer, think about the fact that this could have killed you.

But I'm also not a very empathetic person to begin with when dealing with stuff like this.

Posted by Doc Holiday on 10 April 2014 - 02:49 PM

That's what I'm thinking but I feel bad for my neighbors... it sad that their son is an idiot.

They set your house on fire, it could have resulted in a worse case scenario with you and your family lost, and not just a house or minor external damage.

while the neighbors who's son set your house on fire may not be happy(they will be even less happy then with their son). I dont think any of the other neighbors would blame you. I know I wouldnt.  Never get mad at someone for doing the same thing you would do if the tables were turned.

Exactly.  No lease means that it can be bought and moved without the new ownership paying a ton of money in penalties for breaking a lease.

Owning your own stadium though creates a huge windfall in profits, something that would take a hit with a lease. the panthers this past season had their "100th" straight sell out because of PSL's.

If they were to move to LA they would primarly only be marketable in LA, meaning would the loss of the teams Marketablility in NC/SC(an area known for good support behind their sports teams) outway the potential of LA, an area that has already lost 2 NFL teams in the past due to lack of support.

the Answer is simply no, it's not, read my other post on this teams most likely to move are the Bills and Jags with the Jags being #1, and it's not even close.

Throwing the Panthers into any move talks is nothing more then lazy reporting.

#2722099 What Is This Guy Smoking?

Posted by Doc Holiday on 31 March 2014 - 10:41 AM

on a serious note the Panthers are never going to Move, reason being?  demographics! simple enough, we are the only team in the NC/SC area which NC is the 10th most populated state(that's not counting SC which if you include the two we would the 5th), you arent going to move a team from a top 10 area to an area that already has 3 teams with in reasonable distance, even if it is LA, teams that would move are teams in markets already having problems and are also already in areas where other teams are present, best options to move are the Bills and Jacksonville, both places have been having fan support issues.

But the Bills and Jacksonville arent sexy to talk about, they havent been good in ages, Panthers though are because we are in Charlotte and considered a small market team(no consideration is given to the fact that the Triangle area and Columbia and Greenville SC are all within an easy 1 1/2 - 2 hour drive from us) and we have a good QB with a great defense making us something fun to talk about.

#2716875 Rivera says Steve Smith no longer a deep threat.

Posted by Doc Holiday on 26 March 2014 - 10:33 AM

The Panther PR machine is in high gear.

sCQaP.AuSt.156.jpeg

His only deep play of the season on a busted coverage qualifies him as a deep play? if we judged all players like this people would have cared when Lafell left us, and they dont

just keeping it real, smith wasnt a deep threat last season.

#2712259 D-Jax Big Possibility of Being Cut

Posted by Doc Holiday on 22 March 2014 - 01:06 PM

There are a lot of teams that can pay him more then us so don't get your hopes up

#2711110 DeSean Jackson just posted a pic of him and Cam on Instagram

Posted by Doc Holiday on 21 March 2014 - 05:58 PM

just so yall know the Eagles are only asking a 3rd for DJ, but that's not why no one has taken them up on it yet.  it's his contract it's massive and with us planning to sign the Kraken, Cam and Keek to long term deals I just dont see how thats possible

#2698445 Rivera Not Happy About "The Way It All Happened," Regarding Smitty

Posted by Doc Holiday on 15 March 2014 - 03:51 PM

What was misleading about "Rivera not happy about Smitty's departure"?

The quote says he hated how it all happened. LOL. Am I the only one capable of reading comprehension? What is he referring to then? Smitty's bojangles endorsement ending when Jake was released? LOL.

The Huddle wants blood now and can no longer read or think for themselves.

"RAWR! Me want entire story in title!!!arrrrghhhhhh!"

the huddle has been on a whole new level of stupid since Smith was cut

#2697957 Players not coming to play for Charlotte?

Posted by Doc Holiday on 15 March 2014 - 01:56 PM

You guys keep bullshitting yourselves

http://espn.go.com/b...ers-a-poor-sign

Prior to the Smith Cut,  the gernal consicens on here was that Gett was a genius, afterwards he's an idiot, Gett didnt suddenly have a 80 iq swing so which is true?

I'm not going to bother enough to dig up my own posts on the matter but I did post on here after it was looking like Smith was on his way out that I didn't want Nicks unless the deal was right because Lafell has been more productive over the last two years then him. If I'm the GM I'm not going to sign him to a contract worth a damn untill he shows me he still has game.

The oh and the real reason why Nicks went to Indy is for 2 reasons, 1 it's the AFCS aka the weakest division in football, and 2, Indy offered him more with a $5.5M deal Source ->

http://espn.go.com/n...e-year-contract

And Carolina offered $4.5M source -> http://profootballta...-and-panthers/)

So yeah I just blew a ESPN writers story and your argument out of the water with 5 minutes of google bo fuging yeah for me bro.

Like I said earlier the people fliping out is more about those that haven't watched an offseason before, if a Player doesnt sign one place over another it has to deal with #1 money and #2 division you play in and the team. If I think I can Land in the AFCS playing for the only team worth a damn in the division instead of the NFCS where you have 3 teams slugging it out for the top spot every year where are you going to go? the place that's going to be easier for you to make money and winning = money.  and this isnt some new idea I just brought up I was telling everyone this when Manning went to Denver.

(Multiple edit links didnt want to work for sourced contract numbers)

#2697929 Players not coming to play for Charlotte?

Posted by Doc Holiday on 15 March 2014 - 01:32 PM

Don't forget the daily original idea of "why don't we just cut deangelo and Stewart and give their money to new free agents?"

Yeah, Someone here I dont remember who was ticked off that we had not cut stewart yet, and I had to go and explain it to him and actually had no clue why we hadn't before I said anything.  It's just what we're dealing with people have no idea and I bet some poster just now read my post and was like WTF there's a reason we haven't cut Williams or Stewart? lol

#2697876 Players not coming to play for Charlotte?

Posted by Doc Holiday on 15 March 2014 - 01:10 PM

I'm sorry but this thread and many of them like it are only the posters screaming  their personal ignorace

Here let me sum up 75% of all posts on the Huddle since the Smith news broke!: "this is only the first or second time I even looked at what goes on in an offseason but I think I'm an expert already and know better the the people running the team, the GM is clearly an idiot and players think is an idiot, not that I have anything to base this onn but it's like my opinion and should be respected as law and shared with the masses!!!"

I couldn't bare the idea of posting it, in the proper all caps but yeah story of the huddle lately.

#2696102 Cam Newton now in danger of becoming Donovan Mcnabb.

Posted by Doc Holiday on 14 March 2014 - 07:38 PM

I'd say there are multiple threads fitting that description right now.

Mods should probably have their keychains out just to keep the forum from catching a terminal case of stupid.

this has to be the worst I've seen the huddle in a while, a lot of people that usually never pay attention to an offseason before are watching because, 1. first playoffs since '08 and 2. as soon as the news about Smith broke it brought in a all those that were left.

Truely a lot of ignorance, stupidity and hurt feelings over Smith is going on right now, and you have those that are angry about it starting to try and thump around as if they know something about football which they don't.

It's completely laughable and sad all at the same time.
