#2904461 An Actual Reaction Thread That's Not Retarded

Posted by Doc Holiday on Yesterday, 10:37 PM

Honestly I've gotten so tired of repeating myself to overreaction threads I honestly steer clear of them, when people overreact and flip out trying to give them a voice of reason isnt exactly what they want to hear.

but

as far as preseason games go, the only thing you can take away is trends, any trends you see, consistent issues, and strengths will be throughout the season, bet even with that said, I have seen panthers pre-seasons where the first string offense didnt score a single TD for all 4 games and we turn around and light it up in our opener, so yeah it's preseason, you really should just be praying that we make it out healthy. the only thing that actually matters in the preseason.

#2898876 Will you support your parents financially even if they make terrible money de...

Posted by Doc Holiday on 19 August 2014 - 07:26 PM

I have delt with this extensively, and personally pulled from further financial support of my mom. I basically took care of her for 3 years (took care of her and my dad when we as diagnosed with stage 4 cancer until 2 years after he passed) and for the last year and a half thought that I was more enabling then assisting, I kept trying to push her and encourage her to better her own situation but she wasnt trying to better her own situation at all, her only plan was basically(though I dont think intentionally) was to bleed me dry, I basically ended up wasting my entire savings trying to support her.

now every situation is different, but I think you should help if they: 1. recognize their mistake and what led up to the situation that they are in. and 2. are making their own efforts to better their situation.

my mom never wanted to recognize her mistakes nor make an effort better her situation.

#2892446 Rick Perry Indicted

I know about the indictment but proving what he did was not within his rights as the governor of Texas would be hard to prove.

Just saying. And I haven't voted in 10 years nor plan to this year.

#2890657 Random hottest thing you seen?

Posted by Doc Holiday on 14 August 2014 - 06:08 PM

back in 2012, I was driving home from work and this decently hot chick with big hooters was running as it started to pour rain, I was captivated by this for a few seconds as I was driving by and even slowed down to take in the view, then I realized I had crossed over the center line and swerved back in my lane and check the rear view mirror just in case a cop was behind me, and I see the guy behind me do the same exact thing, we were both checking out the same chick running in the rain haha.

I dont know who that chick was but god bless random summer thunderstorms!!

#2885051 Tony Stewart could be in big trouble....Police investigating incident.

reasonable, intelligent, and very genuine.

If you're talking about my earlier posts then yes it was, I just felt like I had to dumb my responses down a bit for you.

your entire argument till now was solely based on conjecture, no facts at all, zip, zero, nada. I have just made comments related to video evidence and official reports to now. I am a neutral party, honestly if it were not for me being bored today because my beach trip got rained out I wouldnt give two flying fugs about this because as I've stated before I don't even like nascar, and am only interested because it is a big story.

4Corners, we're not having a argument, this isn't something you're winning, you have lost since you're first post. and have done nothing more then bring your own ignorance to light.

Stewart employs my favorite driver - Kevin Harvick. So you are completely off base with your unfair assessment. The kid did run onto a race track like a dumbass though and that part is undisputable.

youre still dreaming a lot of bs up, all official reports say it's a pure accident nothing more, heck the sheriffs office went way out of their way to stress that.

#2810553 At what point did you fall in love with Music?

Posted by Doc Holiday on 05 June 2014 - 06:01 PM

Doesn't mean I don't appreciate other types of music.  The only genre I'm not a big fan of is rap or country.  I listen to it because those are pretty much the only genres my friends listen to, but it's not preferred.  Basically, if a band/song has good instrumentals/musicians, I'll listen to it.

Yeah I can't stand country, the current embodiment of country is nothing but an ad-executives bastardization of a music genre, hasn't been good in a while.

I'm sitting here on my day off cleaning the house while listening to "Another day, Another Time: the music behind inside Llewyn Davis"  which a showtime music doc about a concert with various artists that played for the sound track of the movie, really great stuff if you enjoy folk/bluegrass music, which is by far my favorite genre of music.

My love for Folk and Bluegrass music is something that came very late to me, In middle school to high school I listened to what ever was popular, but never really enjoyed music, and honestly for a while I never thought there was any genre of music I truly enjoyed to listen too. and about 5 years ago while traveling with some friends of mine in Australia one of them was big into Bluegrass and I started to listen to his stuff and have been hooked ever since.

Oddly enough the very first bluegrass song I ever enjoyed was a cover of Metallica's Unforgiven by Iron Horse

so what's your favorite genre and when did you fall in love with it?

I realize that many of you are bored and have nothing else better to do then flip the fug out, but all we have right now are allegations from a drunk girlfriend.

It's not grounds for dismissal from the team and I'm sure unlike many of you knuckle heads the team is trying to get its facts together before it reacts.

Jesus this reaction makes me think some of you are children.
