#3100090 Tom Coughlin revisited

Posted by PantherPhann89 on Yesterday, 05:43 PM

I'd prefer a younger HC with a broader imagination and quicker adaptability.

#3096644 Who would you choose?

Cam and then a GM thats willing to build around him while catering to his strengths.

#3074150 Could it be worse than Green Bay?

No, Panthers win 24-17

#3068089 Panthers release RB Chris Ogbonnaya

Posted by PantherPhann89 on 04 November 2014 - 06:24 PM

does anyone even glance at the forum anymore to see if a threads exists?

Yes, someone does and this someone typed Ogbonnaya name in the search and came up nothing and then this someone posted this thread only later to find out by a smarty that a thread already existed titled "the force is no longer with us".

#3064942 Would you rather...

...the Panthers make the playoffs, even if it means everybody on the coaching staff gets retained?

...see the team lose enough games in embarrassing enough fashion to force staff changes?

If you're completely honest, how would you rather this season play out?

Being completely honest and without reading any other post in this thread, I'd rather the Panthers make the Playoffs, go as deep as we possibly can and make the necessary staff changes because the FO knows that it needs to be done...

#3061574 2 TE Formations?

Posted by PantherPhann89 on 31 October 2014 - 05:39 PM

Probably because our o-line can't protect Cam without leaving extra blocking help in the backfield...

Ginn may have gotten more money but he was certainly used more here. We made him relevant again...

#3021918 LaFell

Posted by PantherPhann89 on 15 October 2014 - 09:53 AM

I've never really had a problem with LaFell outside of his speed and occasional drops. He's made some big plays for us and if my serves me, a lot of 3rd Down Conversions. The Patriots offense is more timing and execution.

#3008626 Have you seen Cam Newton lately?

Posted by PantherPhann89 on 10 October 2014 - 09:55 AM

Cam is playing well. I would like to see us use quicker developing routes, like what Pittsburgh did against us. Cam has also thrived in the no huddle and has greatly improved his accuracy.

#3002838 Chris Ogbonnaya.....will he stick?

Posted by PantherPhann89 on 06 October 2014 - 01:30 PM

I'd like to see his role increased before making a judgment on whether he stays or not...

#2988188 Cracking Down on this Forum

Posted by PantherPhann89 on 29 September 2014 - 12:24 PM

I understand your concerns. To me, the grammar Nazi's are just an annoyance. Kinda like having to spend a Friday night at the in-laws. I know it is going to be...trying. But I have to do it. If the wife ain't happy, ain't no one happy.

I would like to say this. If folks took a few moments to proofread there posts. It would go a long way towards ending those annoying grammar police posts.

I know...phones, fat fingers, auto-correct are all legitimate excuses. But, taking a few seconds to reread a post could help alleviate the problem.

Ok, end of rant.

Agreed, and you are right. If a few moments are taken to proof read post, it may help to hold off grammar police. However, if ones point has been made and understood, the other (grammar police) could simply ignore their opportunity to increase their post count with an annoying grammar correction. In addition, proof reading isn't fullproof, everyone makes mistakes.
