#3259163 How much trust do you have in Gettleman/Rivera in Offensive Tackle evaluation?

Don't know why you would question Gettleman's evaluation ability.

The team had it's hands tied last season, like it or not.

#3258622 Panthers Final Decision On Hardy : No Thanks

No team is going to give up picks for a proven risk player.

Especially when it's common knowledge that he'll be available.

There is nothing to explore.

Their new QB is as impressive as their new LOGO.

Last night, i clearly saw a black and blue dress.

This morning on the throne, i saw white and gold from the same pic.

Now it's back to black and blue.

#3255800 Ted Ginn leaning towards going home to Cleveland

Posted by pantherclaw on 26 February 2015 - 07:36 PM

I'll give Brown credit for toughness and a hell of a heads-up play on that punt return, but that TD does not fall in the category of a typical punt return. Almost any DB/WR/RB or a couple of Carolina's LBs could have picked that ball up and scored with it.

way to downplay something most players wouldn't have done.

#3253697 Ravens willing to move on from Torrey Smith

He's not going to be a Panther at those contract numbers.

#3250952 DeAngelo released...

Wish him nothing but the best at everything he does.

Nothing but respect for that man.

#3250932 Shaq Thompson In The First?

No reason to play him at safety.
He can play whatever side Davis isn't playing until Davis retires.

#3246213 Fox's Bears switching to 3-4 defense

Posted by pantherclaw on 19 February 2015 - 09:42 AM

Jared Allen is a relentless pass rusher.

You think he'd love to be an OLB on a 3-4.

As far as scheme is concerned, a coach is a coach, is a coach.

#3245760 Who are the best Panthers Defensive Ends All-Time?

Posted by pantherclaw on 18 February 2015 - 05:33 PM

Came here just to say

Forget Peppers he was
Ugly as hell and
Could never reach the
Kind of potential he should.

Julius could have

Penned his own check.
Every
Penny he's made since makes me want to
Puke.
Even now he
Rakes in money to
Sort of care.

Back to your regularly scheduled offseason thread.

yesssss, let the hate flow through you....consume you...a powerful sith, you will become!

Stop the ignorant hate.

Peppers is the best defensive end to ever suit up for the Panthers.

Charles Johnson is next.

Followed by Hardy.

#3245085 Who are the Panthers all time running backs?

Posted by pantherclaw on 17 February 2015 - 10:47 PM

Fans think that good running backs are a dime a dozen.
If that was true, every team in the league would have talented RBs and their ofenses would be that much harder to stop.

I think a lot of Panther fans have gotten spoiled by having two of the best franchise backs on the roster for so long. So long, that they get dogged when they don't have the great seasons that we as Panther fans have honestly, come to expect.

I have not forgotten the ages the team has struggled finding good backs.

I hope that we never have to go through such ineptitude again.

#3244747 Panthers Release Safety Thomas DeCoud

Posted by pantherclaw on 17 February 2015 - 04:15 PM

And to your last point about he'll play until someone puts him on the bench well on 31 other teams he would be on the bench. Harper is garbage.

That's like, your opinion, man.

1 good season doesn't make a great career.

It's a shame we got Stephen Davis so late in his career. He was a beast. Loved watching him run.

I couldn't put him above Williams and Stewart unless I was either stoned out of my mind, or beyond stupid.
