He had a nice game, but it's one game.

#3052896 David Foucault Starting at Left Tackle

Posted by Black on 29 October 2014 - 11:51 AM

People remember the dozen or so times Bell has screwed up but he's started every game this season and played almost every snap.  He held up very well for 90% of those plays.  He doesn't get beat every time he lines up.  He's not nearly as bad as people think.  He's played well enough for us to win some games.

I'm not saying he's a great LT but he's no where near as bad as everyone makes him out to be.

I really hope Faucault excels and does a great job but an undrafted rookie who was playing in Canada last year does not feel me with great joy.

I'm much rather have Bell starting.

Nice post, Byron Bell.

Hoping he does very well, and we never see Bell at left tackle again.

#Panthers undrafted rookie David Foucault says he is starting at LT for injured Byron Bell against Saints.

Should be interesting.

I was going to come and ask what happened and why I can't set my lineup for the week past tonights games.

You should have gotten an email about a new league.  The rosters will be the same, but you'll be able to set daily lineups.

I said it on the league page, but I'll say it here too:

Setting weekly lineups in fantasy basketball is the equivalent of having to set monthly lineups in fantasy football.  Why would anyone prefer that?  If you have Peyton Manning on a bye week, why would you not want to be able to sub someone else in for him?

You can set a weeks worth of daily lineups in the same amount of time it takes to set your weekly lineup, so time isn't an issue.

As far as "people who have more time have an advantage with daily lineups", if you can't find 45 seconds a couple times a week to make adjustments if you need to, then maybe a free fantasy league is a little too much responsibility for you.

I'll still set weekly lineups if that's what we're stuck with, because I won't screw up the league for everyone, but there is absolutely zero advantage to weekly lineups.  If someone wants to list some of the pros of weekly lineups, be my guest.

Change stats to percentages yes or no.

Free throws and field goals should be percentages.

Three pointers should be shots made.
