How many CD towers did you buy with that $5K?

My parents house 8 door down didnt flood for Katrina and min got 8 inches and it was all because nobody maned the pumping station for area since it was not safe for operator to be there for hurricane and it wasn't automated, since then, aside from huge improvements, the station can be remotely operated and they built a Hurricane proof shelter to control pumps. Also, my neighborhood isn't below sea level and since we didnt lose natural gas, I spent the hurricane and at my parents house watching TV and movies in air conditioning running off natural gas generator, was like a nice vacation. Especially when the flood insurance checks started coming in. Heck FEMA even gave all the residents $5k each right off the bat for emergency help, needless to say I had a great shopping spree on ebay with it. Please Katrina, come back anytime,

Having grown up on the coast of NC, I don't partake in wishing hurricanes on people.

However, the corruption that took place post Katrina is sad. FEMA throwing $5K at people with natural gas generators soaking up AC while those in the lower 9th ward rotted on rooftops is just awesome to brag about. That is why that Rodrique picture hanging in your house of the blue dog begging for a handout is so fitting.

Great News, just got home and my Saints Blue Dog print was just delivered! They shipped it in a tube so I am laying it out to flatten back out. A great tip is to raise humidity in house to avoid any possible creases and unroll at about 10 inches per 5 minutes, I set mine to 85%.

You still own CDs? Do you have one of those sweet CD towers next to your 5 disc changer? Party on.

It's all been posted here before already since half the board appears to be creepy googlers anyway, so what am I gonna do. Plus I have credit monitoring services that texts me if anything is attempted on my credit that already has my accounts on high alert since a group of criminals went through my neighborhood last year and stole credit card applications and tried to apply for cards, all were caught the next day since almost every house in neighborhood has cameras and already had their pictures as they stole mail. Also, my valuables are all in bank boxes, so there isn't much to worry about at my house, although I have probably the most complex security systems in the city with things like electromagnetic locks built in that I've never even seen in a residential property before along with a ton of other goodies I won't discuss. My house also has 6 exterior cameras that record to Internet with cellular backup and a police station 3 blocks away with patrols passing through neighborhood at around 10 min intervals. Then again, even without any of that, I have hurricane proof windows that are like bulletproof glass that would take about 20 minutes with a bat to get through and then inside I have set up certain bottleneck kill zones.
So basically, I'm not too worried.

LMAO Jesus fuging Christ, Alice. You have some MAJOR issues.

Thanks for proving my point about living in that shithole known as Metairie, LA. Sounds like you live in Somalia which would actually be an upgrade over Jefferson Parish.

God damn, this fuging guy is one pathetic piece of poo. Thanks a lot, Spain. Two Spaniards meet within your borders. They have sex, or donate a sperm and egg to a test tube facility, and give birth to a whinny little snot bubble. Mom and dad strike it rich selling flowers and water color art then hop on a boat with their fat little bundle of poo and cellulite. The boat docks in Metairie fuging LA where they invest in a tiny plot of sub-sea level land. Their roots take hold and they turn their penchant for art into a living. Meanwhile they toss Fatty McGee bagel bites and string cheese by the pound to shut his fat ass up while they make their money. All of the incessant whining won't stop so they buy him coin collections and monster trucks and real estate and maids and tiny front lawns and cars. And still the nonstop whining for "more stuff!" continues so they buy him a laptop hoping their son will go blow off some steam and finally get his dick wet in some actual pussy. But no. Instead of using the Internet constructively he uses it to perpetuate his whining and bloviate about his stupid looking tennis shoes and ironic posters of money stealing blue dogs as he yearns for his own dog to lick that last schmere of peanut butter off his tiny ball sack. So, I say again, thanks a fuging lot, Spain!!!

How'd the tourney go SCP?

We got spanked. One of my foursome cracked a beer at 8:30 and he was worthless by the 4th hole. We couldn't make a putt to save our lives so at the turn i started pounding beers. It was a good time though so all wasn't lost.

My two boys, they love Discovery Place so much. That is awesome.

However, if Discovery Place were a human, I would punch it in the face and curb stomp the life out of it.

#2278168 Kids movie suggestions for family movie night

Posted by SCP on 05 July 2013 - 10:08 AM

We are doing the family movie night.  Pizza, popcorn, kids movie, and then some DirecTV pron for the wife and I after we put the kids to bed (bow chica bow bow).  I'm out of ideas for the kids movie. We've done the Disney Pixar stuff to death and I'm pretty tired of the animated stuff.  I'm thinking old school like an E.T. or Never Ending Story or The Sandlot.  Any suggestions?  The boys are 3 and 8 so it's hard to find something both will be into.
