#2903596 D.Williams Running To Line Up As WR

Posted by CRA on Today, 08:06 PM

It causes the defense to alter CBs. Williams sole purpose is simply to force the opponent to have to switch CBs on our WR

#2902145 Norman climbing out of Rivera's dog house

Norman is far too talented to get cut. We knew when he was drafted that he was brash and raw. It takes time to iron that stuff out.

Physically talented people get cut left and right....

NFL is largely a mental game.

Did you play Cam?

Must be on active 46 man roster for 4 games this year for Philly....or we get nothing

#2899680 Possible DE Trade?

Posted by CRA on 20 August 2014 - 10:02 AM

I only believe that Horton is getting reps with the first and second team defense because they know Alexander will be out and this is going to thrust Horton into a bigger role. They want him to be prepared.

Johnson also has a tweaked hammy which could of lead to increased reps for the depth

Deangelo the last two seasons - more yards per carry, more yards per catch, great hands.

But the last three carries are what matters. Deangelo obviously suck.

So a healthy Williams outperforming an injured player makes him better....when both are healthy?

Last time they were both healthy 28 was the better overall player....will be again. Rivera has shown that he sees it.

He played good but to keep him fresh it's essential thaT he splits carries between d will and Tolbert, Shula should have fun figuring the happy medium for the 3

Sent from my iPhone using CarolinaHuddle

He doesn't need to split with all those guys to stay fresh

Cam, Tolbert, Stewart, Williams? Split with everyone and that is like 7-9 rushes per person. Your best RB doesn't need 7 rushes....he needs more IMO

#2896446 Josh Norman was pulled

Posted by CRA on 18 August 2014 - 09:01 AM

Right now Norman is our 4th or 5th best CB. Yet lets cut him so we can continue watching Godfrey run around like a headless chicken while another receiver burns him.

You can find a Norman caliber guy in cuts with out the BS....maybe better

#2896204 Why can't Godfrey go back to Safety?

Posted by CRA on 18 August 2014 - 12:40 AM

earl thomas was also in the top worst tackler category other then that I stopped reading at not better then sherrod.................you can't be serious

Godfrey was always on par with Martin. Still not sure why people are still trying to convince themselves Godfrey isn't bad.

Saying he has been solid is like saying Kenjon Barner looks solid right now

#2896167 Josh Norman was pulled

Posted by CRA on 18 August 2014 - 12:10 AM

Because he got pulled after he had decent coverage and forced and incomplete pass intended for Bowe.

Riverboat said he yanked him bc whack behavior like his on the field is why we lost to SF.

#2896138 Why can't Godfrey go back to Safety?

Posted by CRA on 17 August 2014 - 11:57 PM

yet another myth, in his last 3 years your saying godfrey has been one of the worst tacklers in the nfl.................

same guy screaming if Stewart is healthy he's the best rb on the team, can't see a healthy godfrey as one of the better safety's on the team if not best.............mind-blowing, the guy was doing pretty damn good before the injury and actually got hurt making a good break-up in the end-zone

Look at Godfrey's missed tackles....use PFF. Find someone worse since he arrived into the league. Anyone worse lost there job as a S and didn't keep there job like Godfrey did.

He isn't a S.

I said years ago he should be auditioned as a CB and if he couldn't do that be be gone. Which his where he is now.

Posted by CRA on 17 August 2014 - 11:35 PM

this is stupid.

How so? He sure didn't shut the hell up when Thomas Davis was telling him what an idiot he was on the field

He had a lot of bad plays later on....

It isn't stupid to suggest his poor play had something to do with his emotional issue

#2896075 Josh Norman was pulled

Posted by CRA on 17 August 2014 - 11:31 PM

He wasn't pulled because of his play, but I get that mentioning that wouldn't fit the narrative.

Frankly to pull him for being mouthy is a little silly provided it isnt being detrimental to the team.

How do you know his whack play wasnt the reason he couldn't keep his emotions in check?

Or he said, "I like that toughness young man". "And I'm glad you did it at the end of the half".

Rivera hates that poo. Costly dumb play...
