#3037519 Seahawks players: Russel Wilson "not black enough"

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on Today, 04:51 PM

Starbucks sucks in suckers of every race. I'm a full on redneck and spent years making fun of Starbucks and the people that go to Starbucks......now i find myself in their grasp, and going to Starbucks three times a week...............making fun of people that don't go to Starbucks. :(

Dunkin Donuts has better coffee

Harvin is fuging insane.

How anybody cannot like RW as a person is beyond me.

I don't know about that....

I could see how players could get annoyed with Russell Wilson as he is praised as a savior and what makes them great....yet has some clear holes to his game that the media ignores and Sea does its best to hide with there offense.

I think Wilson is overrated. I think the NFL media thinks he is totally awesome. I think that in itself can create issues

Then the "not black enough" 3rd grade stuff plays off of the real issue.

Harvin is a punk. The fact they were worried about everyone else means there must be some actual issue people were worried about catching on.

#3037119 Question for couch coordinators...

Is there an offensive philosophy that works with our current roster? We do not appear to be signing new offensive weapons, so what can we do with the roster we have?

What would you do? Overload one side and have Cam roll the other way? No-huddle hurry-up? Quick outs and drag routes? If you were given this roster, what kind of play calling are you installing in your base offense?

Only two things works. Elite D. More elite than ours last season paired with our current O or

It is called....Cam save us and try to be a one man wrecking crew. This also requires prayer too.

There is no magic formula where you add bad OL play, no traditional rush attack, and no WRs to stretch the field that = successful offense.

Cam dropping back every play and pulling off magic is our only shot if our D is gonna be giving up 30

This i actually like. He's stellar in regards to ball security and seems to have excellent hands. I don't expect him to score TDs in the return game, but the likelihood of him fumbling a punt are slim to none.

He could be a Mark Jones type guy for us. Safe and consistent. Not ideal but much needed when you have issues at the spot

#3036992 Another Hardy Thread....

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on Today, 11:25 AM

Hardy played week one without suspension while Rice was the guy suspended two games. How did Hardy all of a sudden become Ray Rice. Media? If you run your team for the national media the Panthers will cease to be relevant. They never loved us and never will so why try to win some PR contest. Your fans and your team want you to win football games, championships. We don't care if the NFL loves us or ESPN loves us. We want to kick ass!

A player gets in a fight with his ex girl. Why let the media spin it into something else. This wasn't Ray Rice. If it's Goodell I'd be mad at the NFL for this if it's Jerry I'd once again ask him will a choir ever win a SuperBowl? Just my opinion: if another team would hire Hardy you'd be foolish to let go of a franchise player for a argument with a girl.

Once the elevator footage was released.....Hardy became that same guy in the video in the public's mind. Doesn't matter his charge didn't fit that type of abuse....public/media opinion is what it is. THAT is what we had to deal with.

Elevator footage doesn't exist? Hardy is still playing

if the media created outrage in regards to Hope Solo then US Soccer wouldn't have it so easy. She is nuts too which would make it hard on them. No one gives a poo about women's soccer.

It is the media that got Hardy on this exempt list and off the field. Nothing more. Tons of guys have played with worse charges. Time changes though.

#3036838 My biggest worry about Gettleman

Firing Rivera still comes down to JR.

Firing 89 pretty much means Dave has the green light on standard GM calls

#3035068 Josh Norman

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on Yesterday, 11:47 AM

I keep hearing everyone mention how much better we'll be when Norman returns. Am I the only one that fears the stupid penalties he brings for extra curricular activities after the whistle? I like his mean streak, but he does some boneheaded things when the play is over.

I'm on the fence about his return. I think the toughness he brings is needed, but he needs to be real disciplined in the coming weeks. We can't afford giving away more yards.

I have always been quick to point out his negative....

But at this point we need to try something. If he can bring a mix of positive and negative it might be worth it. Secondary is just a punching bag right now and they look like they know it. Harper too.....might be better off giving the rookie reps to grow

#3034987 Chances Riverboat Ron gets Canned ?

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on Yesterday, 11:20 AM

Except Rivera believed in those guys too. Some evidence suggests he believed more than Gettleman did.

Whether you agree or not though, it's way more likely Rivera gets canned than Gettleman.

I don't ultimately think Rivera will be fired, but if the season goes in the toilet I do think it's conceivable.

Ron believes in who he is given. Players coach.

I think Ron would prefer decent players instead of one really good one and crap on D. Need to give him a solid D to coach instead of the NYG model that was always criticized.

I think Ron believed in Gross, Wharton, Captain, Mitchell, etc. too. Those were the best guys on weak units....I think discount Dave thought he could repeat basically what was a lotto win in the cheap FA bin in 2013. Which ultimately is the difference in this and last year

#3034878 When a student fails, do you blame the teacher?

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on Yesterday, 10:38 AM

I think in some spots it is simply lack of talent.

You can say, well our OTs didn't get physically whipped on a play and it was more mental (therefore it is coaching).....but I think ultimately it is they have no business being on a football field to begin with.

Talent issue mostly. Same with the secondary. They simply shouldn't be starting. No amount of coaching is going to make them starting NFL players.

There are some legit coaching issues right now. The fact they are playing with 4 starters on the OL that shouldn't be on the field and an entire secondary that shouldn't is a talent issue.

Running plays that don't work. Basic gap assignments. Game management. Coaching staff definately could do better......not sure they have the talent to be anyrhing but .500. They are forced to put too much on the shoulders of too few.

They just extended him.

GM gave him the worst OL and secondary in the NFL. Gettlemen deserves more poo than Rivera. Hurney mess isn't an excuse for how comically weak our OL and secondary are....you aren't suppose to win when given that

#3033752 We Are Missing Something On Defense

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on 20 October 2014 - 06:14 PM

We want more nastiness? Let DG and RR do their job, JR. We can act scared all we want about lockeroom headaches, divas, egos, and thugs ... but if you sign the right ones it works. We've had some from time to time, but I want a whole TEAM of brawlers. And you know who else does? Ron Rivera.

RR is a good D mind.

He knows he has been dealt a bad hand. He will talk them up bc that is what a coach does. I don't get people acting like Ron likes these weak dudes in our secondary

I wouldn't mind seeing Lester get some playing time, Boston as well. Harper was a member of the saints when they had one of the worse defenses of all time. I don't think Decoud is near as bad as Harper. Lester, Boston and Decoud could probably play better than what we have now.

Lester was waived last week

So the intensity is missing. That's what happens when you let certain players walk in FA

At least TD is being honest. Now, if we could only ask him who the missing piece is

Not a missing piece. TD played much better last year than this year.

Luke too.

Star, CJ, etc too.

Only two players IMO that look better or at least on par from last are Short and Klein.

Hardy didn't cause this....this is the same D we saw late in the Tampa game. McCown being so bad early on made people think this D was dominant and they completely overlooked what D was on the field late against Tampa
