#3140856 Bears benching Cutler, starting Clausen

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on Yesterday, 06:57 PM

Cutler stinks. Cutler is signicantly better than Clausen.

Lions will make Clausen look like Johnny football

#3140492 Johnny Manziel....

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on Yesterday, 02:06 PM

Yep...Johnny played bad but he was pretty much set up to fail by his team too.

We let freaking sucks ass Martin run on us....so Clev should fair better at providing Johnny with some form of a run game to play off of.

Also we tend to get blasted by 3-4 defenses and have been living the good life vs piss poor 4-3 defenses of late.

#3137821 Luke the Peace Keeper

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on 15 December 2014 - 06:38 PM

People get confused.

Luke = trash talker

Norman = guy that can't control himself

Norman needs to work on his trash talk game....Luke does it about as good as it can get.

#3137730 Pull For Seattle

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on 15 December 2014 - 05:21 PM

Seattle IMO would be our best option.

They would be on the road....we matchup well. Close game. Always. We always are in position to win those games.

Matchup wise....AZ's D is a much bigger issue for us. Don't care if they have a horrible QB.

#3135838 Benwikere and Norman are studs

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on 14 December 2014 - 06:00 PM

Key words: that close . But he doesn't and he shuts down his man given the opportunity. Julio Jones, now Jackson and Evans. I'll take "that close" over White playing. Him and Bene are our starters and we will have them beyond one year thank god. Continuity will be huge.

Eh, pretty much just a matter of time. He clearly can't rationalize situations....and his own actions.

It isn't like he starts acting out and gains control. His teammates swoop in and we narrowly avoid near disasterous stuff.

Will probably get us soon

Norman still seems mentally weak IMO.

Every game it seems he is that close to committing a huge penalty at a huge moment.

#3133097 Official Bucs at Panthers Gameday Thread

Please God let us not suck

we need to get in a fight early. We tend to look good after that (Atl and NO)

#3132218 Saved by the injury bug? D-will be inactive

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on 13 December 2014 - 02:36 PM

The D Lo hate is cause he has no pop anymore

It is only hate if you are a Williams fanboy.

Otherwise, it is just calling an old and unproductive guy who still gets tons of reps what he is

#3130258 This Week's Figgity Fan Diggity Duel ....

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on 11 December 2014 - 03:42 PM

Lol I got last place cause well we all thought the saints would wreck carolina boy were we wrong.

I'll try again...

I won some cash. Here is what I did...

Everyone hyped up the Saints as the easy play....so I went the opposite way. Cam baby!!!!

#3130180 Will R.R do the inthinkable...start Dlo ?

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on 11 December 2014 - 02:22 PM

Remember back when D-Will had a 200+ yardage game against a terrible Saints defense and people were saying it didn't count because it was against the Saints?

Now Stewart has a 150+ yardage game against a terrible Saints defense and those same people say Stewart has "earned it" because he had a good game against the Saints.

I don't really care who starts. Just think it is funny.

In fariness...28 ran against the Saints in a similar fashion to how he has been running for weeks. He just had more touches.

That is a difference

#3129238 What is your excitement level for this game?

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on 10 December 2014 - 05:33 PM

I always look forward to a game.

10. Will stay a 10 until we are eliminated

#3129214 Anderson will start against the Bucs

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on 10 December 2014 - 05:16 PM

Lol funny he would start in both games against the Bucs. He'd be a starter on a couple teams in the nfl and he's an amazing back up. We'll probably win easily

Why will we win easily?

Tampa played about as bad as they could for 3 quarters.....and still almost had us.

New Orleans got people forgetting what we are this year

#3128880 Worst Case Scenerio

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on 10 December 2014 - 02:02 PM

I actually think worst case scenario is we win these next two games with DA, Cam comes back and we lose against Atl

True dat.

Johnnny Football would have to help us for DA to win that. But that could happen.

#3127471 Ron being Ron... D-will still the starter

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on 09 December 2014 - 03:43 PM

No one is saying Williams is the better back this year but over the long haul he has been. Williams is largely done as are most backs once they are on the back side of 30. No one says Williams should get the majority of carries. Ron himself said he makes Williams the starter because the last time in 2012 he names Stewart the starter he seriously underperformed so he thinks Stewart needs the pressure of competing for playing time in order to stay motivated. I don't know if that is true or not but that is what is happening.

Again no one is saying Williams is a better back now or this year. We are only talking about why Stewart hasn't been the consistent starter and why we think that is the case. I think Stewart has been his own worst enemy and we don't need to be blaming anyone else.

Ok. I got you know. Thought u were implying other things.

I get all that. I just think at this stage....Williams hurt did too much.

I really would like to just let Fozzy have an audition to finish the year. Not that I think he is better today than a healthish 28.....but it would let us know what we have in him.

I think Williams is gone. So I'd like to audition Fozzy with real work. Would help figure out of we need to draft a RB late next year possibly

#3127376 Ron being Ron... D-will still the starter

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on 09 December 2014 - 03:27 PM

Being the best means being consistent and playing well in big games when you are needed. It means not playing well 2 weeks and then disappearing but every week. Stewart has not done that and Williams has. Stewart has every opportunity to shine, he is younger, has less wear and tear on him and is bigger more bruising back. His failure to emerge as a consistent starter is on him and him alone. He spend more time riding the stationary back then he does practicing. That isn't going to give any coach confidence he can be an every day back and is why Rivera manages his touches. If he could actually be healthy and productive for a season he could easily win the starter role and keep it.

Williams isn't consistent.

Unless you mean consistantly ineffective?

At 31....he likely is our 4th best runner.

You, like our staff, are endorsing him getting reps bc of what he did in the past. Not what he is now. All your talk is on the past instead of what is actually occurring each Sunday in the present
