#3061229 Jonathan Jones With Interesting Breakdown of Cam's Incompletions

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on Today, 01:58 PM

We do need speed at wr, but not all the PBU's are on the receivers.  I'd like to see how many of those PBU's are a result of the ball being forced into tight coverage while other receivers were open.  It blows my mind how good Cam could be if he just let the game come to him and took what the D gives him instead of forcing the ball down field.

I'd like for someone to find how many throws to Kelvin haven't required throwing into tight coverage.

D doesn't give Cam nearly what people suggest it does IMO.   Yeah, he misses open guy sometimes.  A lot of those open guys also become open as he is having to adjust to the line falling apart.

#3061223 I'm pretty sure everyone saw this coming

They will play the cap card anyway. We must learn to accept that Rivera and DG are going to dance with the ugly heffers they brought to the prom.

Can't play the cap card.

Cap prohibits you from making huge signings.

Cap doesn't prohibit you from being forced to have Bell, Amini, rookie, Chandler as your opening day OL.

This was Dave intentionally going with a weak OL.   Simple and plain.

DA will play a few games for us this season. Cam will not continue to get his arse killed for the rest of the season.

Cam ain't willingly going to the bench

Bench him for whatever reason you want to...o bet he pulls a power play with his agent this offseason to get out of here

#3060647 There's no sense in worrying about anything else until the OL is fixed.

I remember last season philly fans were complaining about the oline when Vick was playing. He gets hurt and Foles comes in. Suddenly the oline becomes one of the best in the league.

We are a different level of bad. That Philly OL people complained about still opened up holes and they had a run game. There was evidence they belonged on the field

#3060642 Who should I BELIEVE?

Anyone who puts that OL in front of Cam....sits back and then questions Cam. IMO, simply doesn't want him to be the future.

In fact, you couldn't of done more to sabotage his growth heading into this year than we have done. And heading into this year we had done nothing prior.

Dave "Long Pause" Gettlemen. Starting to believe my initial take on him was right. His vision doesn't have a new age QB in it.

#3057594 Is Cam injured?

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on Yesterday, 08:56 PM

He has a backup undrafted LT, backup undrafted LG, backup undrafted RG and a converted DT playing RT.

So yeah, I think you might be missing that IMO.

#3055658 Hardy Trail POSTPONED

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on Yesterday, 06:17 PM

NFL is letting this set an odd precedence IMO. Going forward they are gonna have to start putting a lot more guys on this weird paid leave of absence as the legal process plays out....

Owners aren't going to like that. I suspect this offseason the owners will make sure they don't find themselves in JR's spot in the future paying someone millions over a season to let be legal system slowly play out.

#3055072 Michael Irvin thinks we're the team set for the playoffs

If Cam threw the ball away every time he faced real pressure and no one was open.....we would have had a losing record last year.

Can't have it both ways. He is gonna take a loss occassionaly....that is what you have to accept as trade off for all the amazing 3rd downs that have no shot, highlight plays etc

Gotta keep running out of shotgun and and using the read. It allows Cam to help open up things.

Knowing Shula he will start of the Cam with Cam under C and running Williams between the tackles for 1 yard.

You are being weird.

Nothing weird about believing Williams will be about dat action boss... this week.

There are simply 2 kinds of Panther fans. Those that believe as I do and those that are likely closet Saint fans.

Just for the record...

I just picked up DWill in my money league to start him in my flex spot this week. Yeah, that's right. How many of you DWill haters are doing THAT!

He talks about all the games he has watched....doesn't sound like he has watched the 4 Saint road games.

#3053288 Rivera: " couldn't find a left tackle to fit what we do"?

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on 29 October 2014 - 02:59 PM

I think Rivera was basically saying that the Panthers didn't have the money to sign a quality LT so with the money they had to spend "they could not find a LT that fit what we do".

BTW:  If Amini was any good at LT, he would have been the starter instead of Bell. Amini was another 2nd round 'reach' made by Hurney.

If you weren't going to field a team that could compete this year to legitimately win it all.  The Hardy tag IMO will always be justified in coming back up.  Why?  Let him walk or trade him.  Start building around your QB and essentially building your O.  All starts with the OL

#3053280 fug you NFL Network. fug you so so so hard.

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on 29 October 2014 - 02:53 PM

I do wonder if local stations will be less likely to opt into their option of picking it up now that Time Warner offers NFLN.  I think that is why Columbia, SC picked it up in the past.

I am one of those people who recently unplugged from cable.  So upon further reflection, now that TWC offers NFLN I doubt a local channel will pick it up.  That sucks.  I have missed 2 games since the start of the Fox era.  Might be 3.  Probably can find a crappy live stream where I can make out most of what is going on.
