#3141698 No seriously; for real though...

Funny how people always blame coaches for things when its the players doing the actual playing.

When you know you have the talent to win and yet you come up short week in and week out, you can only blame the players so much and not the coaching staff that should have prepared better.

Johnny Manstration...

Johnny Manbearpig

oooooh I like that one.

He doesn't deserve that distinction though.

#3141592 The Nightmare Scenario

Posted by Cracka McNasty on 18 December 2014 - 10:36 AM

I'll prep for the draft and enjoy a season of development from guys like Norwell, KB, Philly, Bene, Norman, Ealy and even Olsen (really announced himself as a top 5 TE).

At the end of the day it would suck. A lot. But there is a next season and we do have an exceptionally talented young core.

I would hope that Rivera would see what a difference it makes when the team is aggressive and plays with a killer instinct. Although we all know that won't happen.

Seriously, I'm a Panthers fan and regardless of the outcome I'll always be back and ready for more.

God, that just makes it sound like being a panther fan is like being an abusive relationship...

"But the good times are really good!"

"They can change, I just know it!"

"This time it will be different, you'll see!"

If we lose to Johnny fuging Mangina and the Browns, Rivera better be fired on the spot...

We have a history of making Back-ups look like all pros (see one Mark Sanchez) and if we do the same with this douche canoe then I want heads to roll, and I'm usually more level headed than that.

I just started enjoying the games again this season and have this horrible sinking feeling that they are going to blow it.

#3140317 Cleveland Browns talk with Bill Voth

Darin gantt wanted us all to believe he was good at his job for this exact reason

Yeah but Voth actually IS good at it...

#3140281 Norwell and Remmer

Posted by Cracka McNasty on 17 December 2014 - 11:36 AM

Numerous reasons, not sure which apply to these guys though:

Off field issues

Poor combine/individual workouts

Bad at practice

Don't stand out on film

undersized

Not from a power Conference

Immaturity

Late Bloomers

Screwing the coach's wife/daughter

Blackmail

wait... voth is a browns fan? the fug?

It's probably why he is the best at covering the team. He gives everyone an outsider's perspective and just gives facts without being biased one way or the other. I think we're lucky to have him. He does a damn good job.

#3139258 When Your QB Knows More Than Your OC

Posted by Cracka McNasty on 16 December 2014 - 01:17 PM

You're missing the point. Calling one play that works does not mean you are suddenly knowledgeable than the OC. How many people on game day threads have not called for example a screen pass and then it works. Are they suddenly better than the OC?

Well to counter argue, one correct play call by Cam is still greater than or equal to the number of correct play calls Shula has made for entire games this season...

I'm going with the argument is valid.

#3136515 Stamina? Don't you talk to me about stamina!

Posted by Cracka McNasty on 14 December 2014 - 11:45 PM

I mean I miss Steve here too. This thread however was the epitome of not belonging in the Panthers section, not related in the least bit.

Steve's wife lives in Charlotte. Steve comes to Charlotte each week to be with her. Panthers live in Charlotte. Panther related. Half-Life 3 confirmed.

#3132689 Kony ealy at DT

Posted by Cracka McNasty on 13 December 2014 - 11:35 PM

Everyone in this country is entitled to believe what they want. It doesn't necesarily make what they believe wrong, or what someone else thinks right. 1+1=2 (this is known to be a fact) (unless you refer to Cam's recent comments after his accident, but I digress)

Sam was a better collegiate player period. There is no argument to be had on that. Pull the stats. I'm not going to argue with anyone here on what they believe, because it's not very productive. Debating someone's sexuality was not the goal of my post, but some people who are bored with their lives and like stirring the pot on online message boards would love to make you believe otherwise.

And The Golden Calf of Bristol was a better QB in college than Tom Brady. Just because you're good in college doesn't mean you will be in the NFL.

The thing I've noticed with Ealy is that he is getting closer to the QB as the season goes forward, getting more pressure it seems. It's the same thing I noticed with Hardy and CJ when they were younger. They were getting to where they needed to go, they just weren't getting there fast enough. With offseason conditioning and as the game slows down, Ealy might just be getting the sacks where he is now only getting pressures.

So he is improving in that regard. Then again I could be talking out of my ass right now, but it's just something I thought I noticed as the season has gone forward.

#3131196 Grantland on the Saints bleak future (feel good reading for Panthers fan)

It was like reading a "How to GM" book by Marty Hurney...

I loved it.
