#3033907 Dream Scenario

Posted by Cracka McNasty on 20 October 2014 - 08:07 PM

dream scenario is we turn it all around and win the super bowl every year for the next 10 years and look back at this short stretch of games and chuckle at how naive we were...

#3031467 Making A Trade...

O-line

Secondary

D-line

Any of those and I'd be pleased.

#3031203 Tre Boston?

He had a few hits and was apparently flying around the field. I saw it on the radio.

I know what I said

#3023588 A little bit of bright side.

the Running game does not concern me.

Rodgers and his receivers concern me greatly against our secondary.

#3019085 1. KB 2. ? 3. Avant 4. Bersin 5. Brown

Our defense just gave up 37 points in a game in which we TIED and you are trying to tell us that WR is our problem?

That's what I've gathered from this thread.

#3008673 Have you seen Cam Newton lately?

Posted by Cracka McNasty on 10 October 2014 - 10:30 AM

Holy crap, that was one of the best Cam articles I have ever read and it was on BR no less... Damn...

#3008654 "Wide receiver is not a problem" [Phrase should be banned]

Posted by Cracka McNasty on 10 October 2014 - 10:18 AM

Luck is good, but the colts aren't as good as they seem.

That is the weakest division in football, bar none. He gets 6 cake games a year guaranteed. That is going to boost anyone's stats.

So while he is good and improving, he tends to Tebow games (suck for first 3 quarters then turn on the magic) in which the colts have their comebacks. He's pretty up and down himself but no one wants to acknowledge that.

He's playing better this year than his first two years I won't argue that. What bothers me more is that he has better pieces in place around him than Cam does, and Cam seems to get punished while Luck gets praised for it.

#3005506 When's Tolbert projected to be back?

Posted by Cracka McNasty on 08 October 2014 - 11:57 AM

I wouldn't say terrible but yeah.

I mean we line up in the 'i' a good deal so with Brockel on IR, we're either taking that out or maybe using Obi or B. Will (That could get creative).

There's possibly an opportunity for Shula to infuse a little more creativity into the offense because of these injuries.  I mean we run more of a methodical Erdhart-Perkins than a traditional Coryell anyways so I think there's an opportunity presenting itself with Williams and Brown on offense.  We've shown a little with Brown so far.

I'll give you a dollar if you actually typed out the words "Shula" and "Creativity" without smiling.

#3002377 Cam thrives in the No huddle

Posted by Cracka McNasty on 06 October 2014 - 09:41 AM

We can't always do it because it puts more plays and minutes on our defense. Time of possession was 32min to 27min. We have to win time of possession a lot with the type of team we have.

yes and no. Just because we run the no huddle doesn't mean we can't run the clock down a few times in a drive as Cam audibles at the line a-la Peyton Manning.

#2995572 What are your expectations for #24 on Sunday?

Posted by Cracka McNasty on 03 October 2014 - 10:24 AM

Well I just traded for Brandon Marshall in my fantasy league... so that's how I feel about it.

#2994493 Bleacher report wants smith to be the next nfl commissioner

Posted by Cracka McNasty on 02 October 2014 - 01:47 PM

I would not put that man close to any position of power :-)

You can't PUT him anywhere...

He'd fight you for it and earn it.

#2989269 DeAngelo says he's out for a few weeks with a high ankle sprain.

Posted by Cracka McNasty on 29 September 2014 - 07:03 PM

That was a damn freak injury too. Guy sliding down his leg after he broke the tackle.

Yeah, but also shows why you don't invest that much money in a runningback when they are the most likely to be injured of the offensive skill positions.

I'm talking out of my ass, I don't know if that's really the case, but it sure seems like it.

#2988706 On a positive note (Kelvin Benjamin)

Posted by Cracka McNasty on 29 September 2014 - 03:14 PM

Since Randy Moss..

Wow

and we're 2-2. I aint shitting on and giving up on my team. I did that last year and I had to eat crow.

God dammit man, start shitting on them!

it could save the season you selfish prick!

#2988695 Hurney says the RB position is the Panthers biggest issue

Posted by Cracka McNasty on 29 September 2014 - 03:11 PM

And with what we are paying two RBs to basically do nothing we could have an oline.

Hurney is right either way.

And before someone says we can't forsee injuries, 1. We paid stewy after an injured year and 2. Still overpaid 3. Complete ignorance concerning the direction of the RB position in the nfl is going.

4. Deangelo was getting old

Randy Moss did it in 1998.

Well I just went 6 to midnight
