If you were to ask me for 1 QB for the next 5-10 years it would be between Newton and Wilson.
Newton has more physical tools, and the sky is the limit.
Wilson has more playing time, and is pretty damn efficient.
With this D, I think that you would probably have tremendous success for the next 2 years with Wilson. But when this D falls off, and it will, I would prefer Newton, as I think that he will be ready to carry a team within the next 3 years.
That's the thing though, he's already been carrying the team the past 3 years. The offense runs through Cam Newton. Just like the Colts run through Luck.
I would actually love to see the Hawks throw more on wilson's plate. It'd be pretty damn cool to see what he can do when the team is "his"
Didn't you see Money Ball friend ? Haha in all honesty why is an angry colts fan here to begin with ? Wrong conference man, now please go back to condescending to jags, titans and texans fans okay ? And if you are simply a misguided panthers fan please grab a chair some pills and a jimmy buffet CD and please chill lol I don't hate Andrew luck but why defend an AFC QB to a bunch of Huddlers who could care less ?
I honestly don't enjoy being inebriated at football games. I find that I can't focus on the game or really watch everything on the field. A slight buzz is the key.
I find that if I'm not inebriated at football games, I can't enjoy myself, because I'm just plain giddy when I'm drunk, and it takes the pain of being a fan away when they decide not to play well, and makes the joy of them succeeding even better!
To clear up some things, I didn't do nick Foles because the dude has only played one season. Not enough stats and god knows if he can repeat what he did last year. I'm not ready to put him in this list of QBs until he gets 2 years under his belt. Hell, Derek Anderson had 1 good year when he was younger, and no one is calling him one of the best QBs in the league.
And as for the dude that was saying compare cam's most recent seasons, Here's how everything plays out:
Rushing stays the same
Luck actually drops in almost everything, and Cam actually rises in almost everything. His efficiency, and his passing both jump, and his ball security jumps substantially... So... Yeah... He's actually gotten more efficient. And that's cool that you don't like stats and using them makes me "a moron" but i think it's a quick and easy way to gauge where the QBs are... And i never used total yards in passing or rushing, I used averages over that span because it's a better indicator of what they did. Anyone who says that if you look at cam's stats he looks worse, hasn't looked at his stats...
Lower number is good, means that his rankings stayed more consistent with his average. This means Tannehill and Cam were the most consistently rated near their average rank and Wilson and Kaepernick's rankings were everywhere.
