I kinda feel sorry for the man. He was drafted out of Iowa as a CB and Fox started to go senile at that time and started to draft players and move them to a different positions. We moved him to S, and I remember that interview he did with Panthers.com and they asked him about the move and he said he preferred to play corner. At one point he became a solid S, back and forth between strong and free and eventually he tore his achilles, which was once considered a career ending injury. Not so much anymore, but it definitely takes time to come back. Due to management inability to bring in talent in the cornerback position and trust in the safeties they decided to bring in, Charles once again went through a position change. Back to CB which just wasn't going to go well with the injury. I wish him all the best, but what's next for this team is the next question because he definitely wasn't the only one struggling
I think the whole problem is just mental. With virtually the same team we won 12. Football is 80%mental 20% physical. Coaching staff is failing not motivating players properly that is very evident. I can't bring myself to believe last year was a fluke. 12 wins is hard in the NFL it can't be a fluke.
Naw man its personnel. You have to have talent to compete in the NFL. No Bene, no Norman, no Hardy, weak safeties is why we're getting carved. Weak OL too
Idc what anybody say. This is all because he doesn't want the franchise to move out of charlotte. He's going to ass kiss until he dies so hopefully the NFL do what they can to keep the team in NC if it ever comes to that. There's absolutely no other logical reason for putting the NFL before his team. No excuse, no reason. I know its hard to not show up and support your team, but obviously the city isn't sending a clear message to him. Panthers media pathetic too. This should be the number 1 topic on the Huddle. PINNED
1 winning season deserves a light clap. Just b/c you signed underachievers and they overachieved doesn't mean you can replace them with underachievers and they will overachieve as well. NFL doesn't work that way
