#2640536 2014 Huddle mock offseason trading thread

Posted by Munch4455 on 02 February 2014 - 11:12 PM

hes injury prone and had one great year

Someone should do some research before posting.

2010----Total Yards: 2220  TD:  18

2011----Total Yards: 1841  TD:  12 (13 Games Played)

2012----Total Yards: 1641  TD:  17

2013----Total Yards: 725    TD:  2   (8 Games Played)

3 Really good years followed by one year he has a nagging injury and still was on pace to have almost 1500 total yards.

I take more offense that Chris Bosh made it over Al.

#2631467 Graham - Saints updated...a grievance may be filed

Posted by Munch4455 on 26 January 2014 - 01:55 PM

Graham has a good argument about being classified as a receiver.

Pro Football Focus produced a graphicthat shows how often New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham has been used as an in-line tight end this year (105 snaps), and how often he’s lined up out wide or in the slot (a combined 166).

He is lining up almost 50% more at WR than TE.  If it walk, talks and smells like a duck, then it is probably a duck.

Didn't read all the posts, so don't know if this has been said, but here goes.

Does anyone else think it's not a huge coincidence that the NFL got the best 2 matchups they could have hoped for in the NFC and AFC championship games?  Peyton vs Brady and Seahawks vs 49ers would by far have been the "marquee" matchups in their respective championship games of any of the possible combinations.  I really wish there was a way to prove that the NFL steers the results of the playoffs in certain directions.

#2567245 Any good rifle shooting ranges around Matthews?

Posted by Munch4455 on 27 December 2013 - 04:29 PM

Firepower is hand guns only... I want to take my wife to shoot AR15.  Any suggestions?

Nope.  Pappy's Gun range in Edgemoor, SC is the closest I know of(100 Yards).  Carolina Sporting Arms has a 25 yard range that is designed for pistols but they let you shoot rifles because it is below ground.  Charlotte Rifle and Pistol Club is the best place to shoot, its in Weddington, but you have to be a member and that gets quite expensive.  I think its like $500 up front, then a monthly fee, plus you have to do X amount of hours of "work" around the location per year, only worth it if you will be shooting regularly.  I have heard Eagles Guns & Range in Concord is nice, but haven't been there myself, also a smaller sized range from what I understand.

Hope this helps.

#2543375 Bulk BBQ recommendations in the Charlotte area

Check the Rock Store BBQ in Stallings, by far the best BBQ I have had in the area, and I personally like it better than Lexington's BBQ.

PS If you decide to go, ONLY GO TO THE STALLINGS LOCATION, the other locations for some reason hired a bunch of teenie boppers to run the store, no where near as good as the original(stallings) location.

Really classy for duke players to throw punches...

I hate to be that guy but the refs beat us not duke

Hilarious.  Guess you forgot that blatant block in the back that almost handed you a free TD earlier in the game.  Typical Carolina fans though, you never get outplayed, you get beat by the refs.
