#2884380 Nickname for Kelvin Benjamin?

Posted by Leeroy Jenkins PhD on 09 August 2014 - 07:35 PM

If Steve was Smitty, Kelvin should obviously be Kitty.

#2883968 Kelvin Benjamin - Aside from the touchdown....

I think KB is going to be a great receiver, but I have to get this off my chest.  Every time I see his picture, I can't help but think....

#2877132 Official Panthers - Bills Prediction Thread

Posted by Leeroy Jenkins PhD on 05 August 2014 - 09:24 AM

Our offense and defense dominate early.  We lose the game in the 4th quarter, mostly due to a series of special teams mishaps

#2875264 So I modeled the season (and you aren't going to like it)

Posted by Leeroy Jenkins PhD on 03 August 2014 - 04:38 PM

Yeah the model is broken I need to fix it.

Yea, among other obvious errors, it has games where both teams win?.

This entire post is bad and you should feel bad.

Keep posting pictures like this and he is going to get drug tested

#2871760 Cam and high throws.

Posted by Leeroy Jenkins PhD on 31 July 2014 - 12:36 PM

He throws the ball with high velocity.  When throwing it as hard as he does, I am sure manipulating the trajectory is difficult.

My theory is that the harder a QB throws the ball, the more difficulty he will have with location.

#2864285 On the Jonathan Stewart cap hit talk....

Posted by Leeroy Jenkins PhD on 25 July 2014 - 10:45 AM

He plays a devalued position and we are paying him like a #1 WR.  I can't tell you how much I hate Marty Hurney,

Here is a good read on the devaluing of the RB position.

This article talks about the lack of production after the age of 27,  Stewart is 27.

This is a look at our teams salary breakdown per position going into 2014.  Thought this doesn't take into  account the egregious amounts these contracts will balloon into in the future, it does indicate that only 4 teams in the NFL pay more than us.  The Vikings, Bills, Eagles, and Titans.  And only one of those teams made the playoffs in 2013.

#2863773 Who is our RT?

Posted by Leeroy Jenkins PhD on 24 July 2014 - 07:05 PM

We will not go into the season with the current players at Tackle. There will be cuts by other teams that are better than our current depth, if not better than our projected starters.

#2862285 Panthers sign C Fernando Velasco

LMAO, no crazy speculation needed here. We did not have a serviceable backup to Kalil. Now we may

If he is fully recovered from his achilles injury, he may make the final roster.  Anytime you get a pick up this time of year who may actually make the team, that is a good move.

I absolutely hate Shula's play calling and system.

However, with the way our team is built, it is actually going to be the most effective way to run our offense next year.

#2861008 Why, Kraken....why?

Posted by Leeroy Jenkins PhD on 22 July 2014 - 12:46 PM

How things have changed in just a few short months.  I remember when the Kraken came to the site, pushing charity work and jacket donations.  My image of him now is far removed from who I thought he was.

We all want a player who is different from the average player.  But we want those eccentricities to be focused on perfecting his game, not his rap career.

JJ Watt  was quoted as saying:  "I have a limited amount of time to build a career out of football and be the best that I can be at this job.  When this job (football) is over, I have the rest of my life to do what I want to do with my time.  Right now, my job is to watch film, workout, and treat my body right.  When I get done with football, then I can relax and drink as many beers as I want and hang out and be a regular guy.  Right now, I am a football player and I will sacrifice whatever is necessary to be the best."  http://sports.genius...tball-annotated

Hardy needs to reevaluate who he wants to be.  He was so close to becoming a superstar, I hate to see it all flushed away through offseason distractions.

#2859803 Who do u want to hear from?

Posted by Leeroy Jenkins PhD on 21 July 2014 - 10:44 AM

I would love to hear any of the new veteran players opinions of the organization, team, and how they think we will fair next season.   I love when players can accurately contrast their experiences on other teams with their experiences here (if you can get them past the obligatory PC BS statements) .  Players like DeCoud, Cotchery or Webb.

#2852124 Hardy court thread : for all things that happen in court today

Posted by Leeroy Jenkins PhD on 15 July 2014 - 04:55 PM

I guess you have never done coke eh? That is a stupid statement. You think Hardy has ever done a rail? Where do you think she was scoring? Grow up. Cocaine doesn't change a gdamn thing.

She is a flake but the case is not going to turn on doing blow.

If you follow the conversation that was occurring, people were talking about her getting a reality TV show or being on one of those housewives shows. Please pay attention to the conversation before you come off sounding like an idiot
