#2857790 Did we miss out on a diamond in the rough?

Posted by KillerKat on 19 July 2014 - 03:14 AM

I would've rather taken a chance on a tackle with our last pick than select a RB that may not even see the field next season. Or trade for an extra pick at some point and use a late round pick on a tackle. It's not like we have a whole plethora of depth and talent at the tackle position anyway.

I think the reason he's not worried about us is because we don't even know who he is.

#2852725 Hardy found guilty

Sure glad we're using 13 mil for this guy instead of getting an OT, some OL depth, and some help at CB and maybe WR.

Protecting your franchise QB is more important than keeping a luxury player at DE.

who did carolina miss out on signing this offseason because of the franchise tag on hardy?

There were a lot of tackles that went to other teams.

Not really. We kept our strength a strength. If we're putting our chips on Ealy, then he needs at least a year to develop into a starter.

Keep our strengths and strength. Hmm sounds like Hurney and our RBs. Sure you can do that, but you also leave all of your weaknesses weak. We sure could've helped our weaknesses with 13 mil.

If no long term deal is done, the tag on Hardy will look absolutely dumb. That would be the first bad move by Gettleman. Could've let Hardy walk and used the money to shore up our other weaknesses on the team.

I'm more concerned with Bell than Chandler anyway

#2848929 Statistical Analysis of 7 Young QBs

Posted by KillerKat on 13 July 2014 - 02:13 PM

Haha what? How does 'law of average" = emotion? I didn't create the mathmatical fomula. That was done centuries ago. Sorry.

You're picking a stat that looks like to support your argument, but really doesn't tell the whole picture. You cherry picked that stat because you are trying to not look like a fool, but you already do. If you really were in favor of stats, you'd bring up more than 1 and present the data.  Stats that show the bigger picture.

If you hated Joe Montana, you could cherry pick some stats from him to make him look like the worse QB in NFL history in order to fit your hate-filled argument.

This is kind of similar to what you're doing. Instead you're trying to drive home your stat because you're using emotion against the one who is disagreeing with you.

I just can't fathom lurking and posting and spending time on another team's message board that I don't give a sh** about. That is some quality stupid right there.
